Yeah…what could go wrong? Boeing 737Max black-box review being done by its competitor’s home nation

Airbus is the major competitor to Boeing, and is headquartered and has most primary manufacturing facilities throughout the European Union, yet France is conducting the review of the blackbox off the Boeing737Max involved in the Ethiopia Airlines crash.

No conflict of interest there, right?

A pilot-error conclusion exonerates Boeing…

…who in their right mind thinks ‘pilot error’ will be the outcome?

College admissions scandal confirms what Ocasio-Cortez ignorance revealed…

The freshman congresswoman from New York has never hesitated to open her mouth, and thereby expose how ignorant she really is…yet, with a degree from Boston U.

That’s right, a girl with ideas to overtax ‘tippy-top’ earners and that ‘America is garbage’ has a bachelors degree in economics and international relations…scary, no?

Now, with this college scandal and scores of indictments that target Hollywood stars and college administrators and staff, the dirty little secret’s finally out…

…a college education that can be bought – absent academic merit – is WORTHLESS.

(If anyone wants proof, they can just attend an Ocasio-Cortez townhall sometime.)

Yep, that’s what these ‘prestigious universities’ have been up to – and, if some hugely revered colleges were part of the scam, you know the rest of them are too.

That’s gonna leave a mark…’cuz, even if some aren’t, how do they prove a negative?

College degree, hunhh? Big deal…was it earned, or BOUGHT?

“Hollywood actresses Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin and a slew of chief executives are among 50 wealthy people charged in the largest college cheating scam ever prosecuted by the U.S. Department of Justice, federal officials said Tuesday. Those indicted in the investigation, dubbed “Operation Varsity Blues,” allegedly paid bribes of up to $6.5 million to get their children into elite colleges, including Yale, Stanford, Georgetown and the University of Southern California, federal prosecutors said.”

YALE. STANFORD. GEORGETOWN. USC.

‘Varsity Blues?’ You bet.

Prestigious, Ivy League? More like POISON IVY League.

If dealing w-foreign nations is collusion, what do we call someone who deals with suicide-vest nations?

Seriously…if a buddy rants over Trump’s dealings with Russia, ask when was the last time a suicide-vested Russkie was id’d in a terrorist act blowing up innocent civilians.

‘Cuz, oh, by the way, based on that buddy’s standard Obama colluded with Iran.

And he gave that world leader in global terror-enabling over $100 billion dollars.

Which – by any standards – buys a whole bunch of suicide vests.

Just sayin’.

Another lesson on Socialism…

Next time that Leftie buddy brings up anti-capitalism sentimentsSOCIALISM IN ACTION: Venezuelans Collect Drinking Water …FROM THE SEWER!

As Andy Puzder notes in a recent FoxNews.com op-ed “They tried the Socialist Nirvana AOC (Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez) envisions in Venezuela.  As recently as 2011, Venezuela was the richest nation in South America.  It sits on an ocean of oil.  With promises of benefits and social well-being, the Venezuelans elected – democratically – a group of socialist elites to rule them…The result was want, misery and poverty.”

(Does Ocasio-Cortez think Venezuela’s socialist elites are drinking sewer water?)

Last week in Venezuela electricity failed, and lights went out.

And now, those who elected the socialist elites responsible are drinking sewer water.

Class dismissed.

Does anyone know it was Republicans who fought to give women voting rights?

On the Daily Caller’s op-ed page Monday: “Media Spend Women’s History Month Forgetting Republicans — Not Democrats — Gave Women Right to Vote”

Excerpts:

“The Women’s Rights Convention held in 1848 was the catalyst for the women’s rights movement. Two years later, another convention followed where the matter was discussed.By 1870, the Massachusetts Republican State Convention had already seated two “suffragettes” who had fought for the women’s right to vote — Lucy Stone and Mary A. Livermore.

Just two years later, the National Republican Convention of 1872 approved a resolution calling for a wider role for women in the political process, and demanding that “additional rights” for women “should be treated with respectful consideration.”

In 1892, two women delegates from Wyoming were seated for the first time at a national political convention — but it was the Republican National Convention (not the Democrats’.) This same convention was the first time a woman was ever allowed to speak at a national political convention — again, it was a Republican convention. During her speech, the chairwoman of the Women’s Republican Association of the United States vouched for Republicans’ commitment to granting women the right to vote and said they would see the fight through to the end.

Finally, at the request of Republican Susan B. Anthony, Sen. A.A. Sargent — a Republican from California — introduced the 19th Amendment to grant women the right to vote. The amendment was voted down by a Democrat-controlled Senate.

When Republicans regained control of Congress in 1919, they passed the Equal Suffrage Amendment as one of their first orders of business.” (bold, u/l added)

Anyone see a pattern?

Anyone?

Manafort jailed as co-conspirator Podesta gets immunity…and it’s NOT a political hit-job?

Everyone knows Manafort was being squeezed by Mueller to get at Trump, in the old game of prosecutorial blackmail Mueller’s been known for using over decades.

Well, almost everyone.

Obama-appointed judge Jackson dismissed claims that Manafort’s being persecuted for his political affiliation with Trump, but charges brought against him involved Podesta as well, since he was working with (for?) the Democrat-linked Podesta when it occurred.

(Keep in mind, those activities occurred years before the 2016 Trump campaign, while working with Tony Podesta, brother of Hillary’s campaign chairman John Podesta.)

Yet Podesta was given immunity…for the same activities Manafort’s been convicted?

Summary? It’s okay to break laws while affiliated with Democrats, just stay away from Republicans after…in order to avoid prosecution traps they’ve got waiting in the wings.

Yeah, yeah…no political motivation there – move along now.

‘Anti-nat’l emergency’ (small r) republicans are making fools of themselves

Unbelievably, an estimable National Review Online joins the ‘camel-thru-needle’s-eye’ club, arguing the Senate GOP should vote against the President’s national emergency:

“…on principle and out of institutional self-respect”.

That’s laugh-out-loud tragic…considering lack of ‘principle and institutional self-respect’ is what got America to this point in the first place. Lest we forget, the Democrats used illegal immigrants as a political football, while Republicans did NOTHING.

For YEARS.

Does the NRO editorial staff actually read the stuff they write?

They argue, though it may (?) be legal, it does “an end run around the congressional spending power” thereby delegitimizing the authority of Congress on appropriations, but in the very next paragraphs they note Congress is “so often unwilling to take political responsibility and to protect its own prerogatives.” (italics, underline emphasis added)

Duhh!

Then, as what one would (ironically) read as a coup-de-gras to this editorial malfeasance, NRO notes “The spending is sequenced so the national-emergency funds come last, and they may never need to come into play if Trump gets Congress to cough up more funding in the next appropriations cycle.” (bold, underline emphasis added)

Rampant drug-running, sex/human trafficking, and mayhem could have been effectively reduced long ago; in this age of relentless terrorist efforts, secure borders are critical…

…yet, instead, it’s an issue allowed to continue, as political football is being played.

Acknowledging it IS a national emergency, yet bashing the one man who’s willing to do something about it – FINALLY – does harm to the very political Party they champion.

Doesn’t it make more sense, EDITORIALLY, to write an op-ed telling Congress  to avoid this imbroglio by DOING THEIR JOB, negating use of a nat’l emergency?

Claiming a ‘constitutional crisis’ when the President acts to do what Congress won’t is a fool’s game, as is worrying that ‘a next opposition Party president may do it as well’

DEMOCRAT PRESIDENTS HAVE ALREADY DONE IT.

Not one critic of this national emergency can say Trump hasn’t given Congress every chance to do this properly, through legislation – but Congress won’t, and in the end…

that’s the REAL national emergency.

Is the Fox network going off the deep end…?

Sacrificing yet another victim on a FAKE Altar of Political Correctness, Fox News execs condemned host Jeanine Pirro for asking if Democrat Ilhan Omar was pro-sharia.

Got that? She didn’t label anyone, just asked “Omar wears a hijab, which according to the Quran 33:59, tells women to cover so they won’t get molested. Is her adherence to this Islamic doctrine indicative of her adherence to Sharia law, which in itself is antithetical to the United States Constitution?” (bold, underline emphasis added)

That’s all it took for Leftist crazies in the Muslim corner to erupt in feigned outrage.

Jeanine Pirro is a COMMENTATOR. She asked a legitimate question.

Sharia law is not compatible with our Constitution. Omar swore an oath to defend the Constitution, but wearing a hijab is required by Sharia law. It begs the question.

Fox should be ashamed for allowing themselves to be manipulated in such fashion.

What’s worse – the 100-lb ignoramus in the room…or non-reasoning followers?

As parochial as her views are, Xandy Ocasio-Cortez gets lots of support for her socialist viewpoint…especially from Millennials (18-39 age group)…and that begs the question.

As a politician, O-C may just be playing the class-warfare card Democrats are so expert at exploiting, but when half the Gen Y demographic bobble-heads can’t wait to agree, it’s time to realize left-wing education and emotional manipulation is at play, big time.

How else can one explain a demographic that embraces the concept of not having a car or cheeseburger, because an environmental HOAX is more important to address?

How else can one explain a demographic that rages against a capitalist system that has raised more nations and their people out of poverty and chaos…than any other system?

Scientific facts PROVE warmer climate existed centuries, even millennia, before fossil fuel use as a source of energy fostered the Industrial Age. Scientific facts PROVE co2 levels were 4-5 times higher in prehistoric times, and plants and animal life thrived.

T-Rex didn’t use a Hummer. Sabretooths weren’t burning coal to heat their caves.

Nature caused the co2 levels then; to believe Man will drive the Earth to destruction now is hubristic in the extreme, and idiotic considering the minor fluctuation occurring.

Then there’s the insane belief that government is the solution to our problems. Anyone who feels that entity can handle their healthcare needs should visit a VA medical facility.

Next time a Millennial mouths socialist platitudes, ask them if they’re willing to give up their cars and cellphones, or ready to trust wind and sun to heat their home in winter…

…or willing to eat a steady veg-only diet to make the Green New Deal happen…

…while gently reminding them no other country will be following that path.

Bottom line? When even unions are against it, lefties should pay attention.

Who didn’t see this coming…?

Washington Times: “House votes in favor of illegal immigrant voting”

Lest any forget, the Democrats control the House, and the vote went party line. As the Senate is Republican controlled, it won’t go anywhere now…but read the tea-leaves.

It’s local elections they’re defending, but who doesn’t see national elections in the crosshairs for future elections if Democrats keep the House and regain the Senate?

Does the reason why they’re open-border advocates make sense now?

Anyone?

Anyone?
