The poor and police, held hostage to out-of-control violent crime…to what purpose?

As violent crime continues its virulent increase in gun-control cities, ask yourself:

Who Benefits?

  1. Gun Control advocates;
  2. Big Government advocates.

Obama has talked about developing a federal policing unit for years, and believes wholeheartedly in the federal government’s role to ‘help’ citizens manage their lives, especially when it comes to relieving the American citizen of their right to bear arms.

He’s surrounded by like-minded advisers and politicians, all of them Alinsky drones.

Obama, 2008: “We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded (as the military).”

Now, using Alinsky tactics, his people are carrying out that plan…at the expense of inner city neighborhoods – and the safety of police officers nationwide.

Obama’s targeted anti-police rants freeze, personalize, polarize..with predictable results that are – right now – playing out in a city or suburb near you.

Victims of raging lawlessness invariably are the trapped inner-city poor, the very ones Democrats claim to champion, even as Liberal policies ravage them cruelly.

At the end of the day, looking at Baltimore, ask yourself…

…is this really the Hope-and-Change you wanted…from Barack Obama & Co.?

Looks like he really meant Create-&-Exploit…a crisis.

Our prayers go out with police officers, as they try to do their job every day.

Minimum wage subterfuge?

An editorial in the New York Times has caused some to ask if the movement behind minimum wage laws is all about bringing down the restaurant industry.

Opining on the recent minimum wage hike in LA, the article leads off paragraph 6 by noting “The restaurant industry, however, will not go down without a fight.”

Begging a question – is a minimum wage effort meant to bring that industry down?

Rush Limbaugh thinks, if that’s the case, it might be meant to bring fast-food down, since that segment of the foodservice industry has long been a target of Liberals.

BlueCollar perspective is always to ‘follow the money’…and, in this case, one need only remember that, when labor costs rise, cost-effective automation results.

Mon-n-Pop stores can’t afford that investment. As competition folds, the big chains reduce labor costs with automation, and those who lost jobs are left bewildered.

Miminum-wage populism is just one more example of how Democrats pander to Big Business sub rosa, while posturing as a champion of the little guy…

…and ranting against the very ‘Big Business profiteering’ they really champion.

Employee costs include expensive benefits and payroll taxes…EVERY DAY.

Machine costs are tax-deductible…and don’t need Obamacare.

It was ever thus.

Obamacare..bad law + illegal waivers + unlawful delays = GOP disaster in the making?

Democrats wrote bad law, Obama flourished his unlawful-acts wand, and now, if the illegal federal subsidies he ordered are struck down, Republicans will be blamed.

Afraid of criticizing or blocking Obama, they failed to uphold the Constitution.

Advantage – Democrats

But that’s not all – in 2013, Obama once again brandished his lawbreaking wand, and waived the out-of-pocket and deductible caps which protected consumers.

That meant insurers didn’t have to abide by the caps set into place by the law.

But Republicans failed to explain to Americans how their costs would rise once the Obama-mandated waiver of insurance company caps was implemented.

Afraid of criticizing or blocking Obama, they failed to uphold the Constitution.

Advantage – Democrats

Now, that illegal waiver is due to expire, which results in a double whammy against the consumer – premiums will go up, and ‘caps’ are now at a higher base standard.

Democrats are already bemoaning the high out-of-pocket costs as ‘underinsurance’ and talking as if it’s anyone but Obama-&-Democrats who caused the problem.

Once again, the Republicans have failed to articulate this imminent disaster, and failed to point out it was Obama who okayed the higher out-of-pocket insurer costs.

Afraid of criticizing or blocking Obama, they failed to uphold the Constitution.

Advantage – Democrats

Bad law was unlawfully re-written by Obama wholesale, while Republicans hid. They wouldn’t fight Obama then, and mismanage how it should be dealt with now.

When you fail to uphold the Constitution you swore to protect, bad things happen.

Is it any wonder a wide swath of the electorate are disgusted with GOP leadership?

Once again, with feeling…not one Republican voted for Obamacare

…OBAMA & DEMOCRATS WROTE – AND PASSED – THIS LAW.

That’s not ‘underinsurance’, Rep McDermott…that’s OBAMAsurance.

Incompetent or duplicitous, Big Govt exposes its failure to be the answer

For those who believe Big Gov’t is the solution, the following negates the concept.

“Criminal Charges Likely for GM. Hey, Can We Get Our $11.2 Billion Back?”

GM knew since at least 2004 they had faulty ignition switches that were causing a multitude of accidents and deaths, yet, it’s reported, did nothing about it until 2014.

And, yet, Obama went along, giving them billions in taxpayer bailouts?

Remember the 2009 fed bailout of GM? Obama bragged about his team’s months of auditing prior to approving the bailout – an audit that included risk assessment.

(Of course, maybe he just has a different definition of the word ‘thorough’.)

Was it incompetence, or a duplicitous act that missed such a huge problem?

Either way, it’s a strong argument AGAINST government as the solution.

The question is…what did Obama’s audit team know, and when did they know it?

And, if they didn’t know…WHY didn’t they know it?

Stevens, Woods, Doherty, Smith…were sacrificed needlessly

There’s a special place in heaven for those who were sacrificed needlessly…

…there’s a special place in Hell for those who sacrificed them.

J. Christopher Stevens, Glen Doherty, Sean Smith, Tyrone Woods…R-I-P.

To our abandoned heroes of Benghazi…we salute you.

May those who abandoned you rot…SLOWLY.

America remembers its fallen heroes on Memorial Day. Will they on election day?

‘Witch’ hunt? Oops…at least one Democrat calls ’em as he sees ’em

An Obama cabinet secretary called the Benghazi investigation a ‘witch hunt’.

Pegged as a potential running mate for Hillary Clinton, he’s trying to deflect criticism of her, by a Republican Congress dealing with new Benghazi email revelations.

Forget for the moment how Democrats have slow-walked and stonewalled why their foreign policy led to, enabled, and fumbled the deadly Benghazi attack in 2012.

Forget for the moment relevant emails, released 3 YEARS LATER, was their fault.

Simply savor for the moment how a VP-wannabe describes Hillary, by naming it…

…a Witch hunt.

Hey…when was the last time a Democrat was so honest about one of their own?

Besides, for Democrats…what difference, at this point, does it make?

BlueCollar suggests Hillary’s new campaign theme music…’Witchy Woman

…with the opening stanza SLIGHTLY modified (our apologies to the Eagles)…

‘Greying hair, shriveled lips…emails die at her fingertips…

Ignoring pleas from a firefight…She’s a stone-heart harpy ignoring their plight…

Whoo…oooh…Witchy Woman…see how well she lie-i-i-ies…’

Smelling a set-up on this trade deal…

When Obama’s for the same thing as Republicans, that’s not fish you smell. Democrats oppose the deal…Republicans are for it…

…and Obama sides with Republicans?

Why keep such a big deal so secret lawmakers don’t know what they’re passing?

GOP lawmakers better keep their hand on their wallet. This is a set-up.

(And you can bet it’s not designed to make Republicans look good.)
