Seriously? When did ‘we will RAISE your taxes’ become a vote-getter?

Hoyer: Democrats Will Look to Raise Taxes Once Back In Power

After eight years of proving their policies hurt the economy and stall growth, Democrats think this kind of promise will somehow ingratiate themselves with their voter base?

Minority unemployment’s at an all-time low; jobs are booming; bonuses are flowing; and worker paychecks are fatter…because of Trump’s actions and Republican tax-cuts.

Raising taxes on the businesses making this happen is economic lunacy.

If Republicans can’t get elected/re-elected on that, they don’t deserve public office.

As reported in a Fox News article “To date, 507 companies have made decisions to hand out bonuses, raises, add more money into their employees’ 401K accounts, as well as plans to grow their businesses or slash costs for consumers…”

“The Department of the Treasury estimates 90 percent of the workforce is seeing more money in their paychecks, thanks to the tax cuts.  The new law also doubles the amount of the child tax credit to $2,000 per child based on eligible kids.”

There’s only one part of this Fox article we don’t agree with: GOP lawmakers shouldn’t choose to make tax-cuts permanent before midterms, but, instead make it part of their midterm campaign pitch to make it permanent AFTER the midterms.

This precludes opportunistic Democrats from taking over the Trump agenda to draw votes…but then, as usual, reneg on those promises after getting elected.

Stop falling for the reach-across-the-aisle gambit, GOP…you’ll only lose fingers…

…or, in this case…congressional seats.

How is this acceptable? “Only one IT aide currently working directly for members of Congress has ever completed a background check”

Only one IT aide currently working directly for members of Congress has ever completed a background check” (bold emphasis added)

IT aides, by definition, handle information technology…which means they have access to the computer files of the most classified data being handled by Congress…including the House Intelligence, Foreign Affairs, and Armed Forces committees.

“Only one IT aide currently working directly for members of Congress has ever completed a background check.” How is this acceptable?

Low-life governor blames anti-sanctuary rhetoric on ‘low-life’ politicians

Seriously?

The low-life politician governor of California, pushing a sanctuary state that violates fed immigration statutes so he can get more illegal votes, blames anti-sanctuary acts on…

…’low-life’ politicians?

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

Just so we’re clear…Jerry Brown thinks obeying the law is ‘low-life’.

Who knew bathroom use was a racial issue?

Starbucks is under fire for not allowing bathroom use by non-customers. Many businesses have that policy, so why has it suddenly become volatile?

The denied user was black. Cue the Left-wing ‘racism’ uproar.

So, evidently, now Starbucks is closing their 8,000 stores in the U.S. in the afternoon on May 29 to conduct a racial-bias education program.”

You’d think they’d just add ‘unless you’re black’ to their published bathroom use policy.

Give Mueller a dead-line to produce criminal-collusion evidence…or start firing his partisan-hack staff

It may be politically advisable for the President to leave special counsel Mueller alone, but there’s nothing wrong with demanding a status report on evidence of collusion.

And, as a motivator, for every day no evidence is presented, fire one of his Democrat partisan-hack staff lawyers wreaking random havoc against private citizens…whose ONLY crime was to be involved in Trump’s presidential campaign, or a private aide.

Any other American is held to performance standards in their jobs…it’s past time to hold these people accountable to the same type of performance standards.

How is ‘conflict-of-interest’ pertinent to private citizens…but NOT to PUBLICLY ELECTED officials?

Amazingly, the Left wing media is bent on condemning a  private citizen like Sean Hannity with conflict-of-interest, yet oblivious to their own conflicts of interest?

Rush Limbaugh outlined many of those conflicts today during his first hour, and the list runs DEEP…FakeNews media is joined at the hip with all manner of Leftie politicos.

If an elected politician gets a pass on that, then no one should be spot-lighted.

(And, we reiterate for emphasis, the belief that much of the conflict-of-interest that runs rampant throughout the Mueller staff is NOT coincidental…we firmly believe it’s not only a massive effort to de-legitimize or remove the President…but to hide evidence that incriminates the very staffers – and Mueller – relevant to recently exposed scandals.)

No need for high drama as GOP chooses a new Speaker of the House

Why make things more complicated than they need to be?

The next Speaker of the House in Congress doesn’t need to be a political animal like every Speaker before…Republicans can do away with that by choosing their Speaker from OUTSIDE Congress, thus doing away with the inevitable political posturing.

The Speaker has authority over priorities in Congress, and those priorities have too often been subjected to what’s better for the politician…rather than for Americans.

America is better served by an objective referee…than a subjective politician.

In Article I, Sec2, subsec5, our Constitution says “The House of Representatives shall chuse their Speaker and other Officers” but doesn’t say ‘from the membership’.

Some could argue that, with the Speaker being in the presidential line of succession, it would be wise to have an elected representative, and it’s a point worth noting.

But, with all the political posturing and gaming that goes on, there’s also a good reason to have a Speaker above the fray, and thus immune from the attendant pressures.

‘Chusing’ a Speaker with the same background as a Supreme Court nominee, one who is faithful to the U.S. Constitution, should satisfy even the most critical Republican.

Just a random thought on the imminent drama.

(Updated – there is already, by law, possibilities of presidential succession that may involve non-elected officials from a President’s cabinet appointees.)

Fight fire with fire…or live with the constant burn

Judge in Michael Cohen’s case officiated George Soros’ wedding

Using courts to their advantage is a major strategy of the Left.

Raiding the personal lawyer of a Republican president is no surprise, and it’s high time the GOP understands that this will not stop…they must use their tactics against them.

In politics, when dealing with the Left…taking the ‘high road’ is a loser’s game.

Did you know there are between 500,000 to 3,000,000 uses of firearms annually… for SELF-DEFENSE?

This CDC study is 5 years old, and seems to never be reported…or referenced.

CDC Study: Use of Firearms for Self-Defense is ‘Important Crime Deterrent’

“Self-defense can be an important crime deterrent, says a new report by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). The $10 million study was commissioned by President Barack Obama as part of 23 executive orders he signed in January.” (that’s Jan, 2013)

Commissioned by…Obama? How’s that for irony?

“Researchers compiled data from previous studies in order to guide future research on gun violence, noting that almost all national survey estimates indicate that defensive gun uses by victims are at least as common as offensive uses by criminals, with estimates of annual uses ranging from about 500,000 to more than 3 million per year.”

Talk about inconvenient truth – no wonder the main-stream media backing gun-control advocates never reports on this…it would totally destroy their gun-control narrative.
