Schumer takes ‘oblivious’ to a whole new realm…

Think this means Americans aren’t concerned about uncontrolled immigration?

“Shock poll: Americans want massive cuts to legal immigration”

Evidently, that’s what Senate Minority leader Schumer DOESN’T think…

“Schumer withdraws offer on Trump’s wall”

Open suggestion to Chuck – read this:

“A Harvard-Harris poll taken in the run-up to the shutdown found Americans strongly support granting citizenship rights to illegal immigrant Dreamers. But they also back Mr. Trump’s three demands for a border wall, limits to the chain of family migration and an end to the Diversity Visa Lottery.” (underline, bold emphasis added)

It’s about time plain language triumphs over political hyperbole. Americans see dangers exist when borders are not protected, and when relative/lottery-based rather than merit-based immigration guidelines are followed…they want common sense solutions.

But, don’t let this stop you Chuck – hang tough on your policy until December, ok?

50,000 texts? That takes Rush’s ‘living rent-free in heads’ to new extreme

As every Republican goes up in smoke over latest revelations that an FBI agent and an FBI lawyer having an extra-marital affair texted each other about all that’s anti-Trump…

…we have to ask – who has enough time in their day to send 50,000 texts?

Think about this for a moment – Trump won the GOP nomination mid-2016, so if we’re talking about texts over 7 months (5 months worth are reported ‘lost), then that means the two FBI malcontents texted each other a total of 238 times EVERY DAY.

If each text took on average 30 seconds to construct, type, and send, and 15 seconds for the recipient to then access and read…that means three hours per day.

Every day.

Talk about living rent-free in someone’s head.

(But, Rush Limbaugh needn’t worry; he’s still the Champ. After all, Donald Trump’s only lived in their heads for a year…Rush has been living in heads rent-free for 30+ years.)

Congress must end the ‘crazy uncle’ chain-migration policy that hurts America

Honest Americans will agree that a Nigerian PhD medical research scientist can give a lot more benefit to this Nation than a low-skill manual laborer from Belize.

But our system is set up to – annually – allow 14 ditch-diggers for every PhD research scientist, if those low-skilled laborers are related to any of the DACA illegal immigrants.

Call it a ‘crazy-uncle’ policy, call it chain migration, call it whatever you want; that kind of deceitful policy is flooding America with those most in need of government welfare.

You know…future Democrats.

Put simply, DACA is a deferred action policy that delays deportation of illegal aliens who may have entered or remained in America as minors, and are allowed work permits.

Whether ‘accidental’ or deliberate, a policy that allowed the ‘poor children’ of illegal immigrants to obtain DACA status, then opened the door for relatives to follow, has created an influx of the demographic most in favor of Big Government programs.

And we all know the Party that wants more government.

So, surprise, surprise…once obtaining citizenship, guess what Party they support?

But forgo heart-string tugs of drama comparing value of ditch-diggers to scientists. Put aside, for the moment, the endless argument of big-vs-small government and its affect on America…focus on what type of immigration policy will most benefit our Nation.

Forget political parties. What would an honest, objective American want?

First, for a nation’s survival, top priority must be its security. National security requires strong, effective border enforcement, and a strong economy. A strong economy is best achieved with the least demands draining resources from its growth dynamic, and its most beneficial assistance from an entrepreneurial spirit that seeks constant innovation.

When partisan needs give way to a Nation’s prioritized need, the answer is clear.

And tells us all we need to know about political ‘leaders’ currently focused otherwise.

How many Americans know the hidden truth about chain migration?

“Right now, only one in 15 of the more than 1 million immigrants who are admitted every year are given a visa because of their job skills or entrepreneurial ability.”

In other words, less than 7% of annual immigrants admitted are merit-based. And that means OVER 93% of immigrants admitted annually are simply a result of family links.

As John Fund points out “a doctor from Greece can’t immigrate here while a cab driver from Guatemala who is someone’s cousin can”. If that’s not crazy policy, what is?

(emphasis in quoted areas added)

This is why Democrats want to mis-define the ‘chain migration’ terminology as negative, racist, whatever works…to stop Republicans bringing the reality of such policy to light.

Happy with a chain-migration policy that excludes those who best serve our needs?

Neither are we.

Democrats exposed – Senate GOP should invoke the ‘simple-majority’ vote rule, & do what’s best for America

Republicans played fair, allowing certain Democrat-favored issues in the budget deal, and yet Democrats stonewalled, putting illegal immigrants ahead of Americans.

It’s way past time the budgeting process for this country was taken out of play as a political football. If Democrats stay in lock-step, Republicans should pull the trigger on a simple-majority vote requirement for the budget deal, and get the work done.

When Democrats held the Senate, they had no problem changing vote rules to fit their needs. Issues they favor are in this budget plan, but they refuse to act like adults. Give them the option of working with Republicans, or neutralize their ability to stall.

Media works overtime to blame Republicans for gov’t shutdowns. Sadly, it works.

But now, if the other side won’t cooperate – and the GOP doesn’t do anything about it when they have the wherewithal to do so – they WILL deserve the blame this time.

The needs of America should come before needs of illegal immigrants, especially when one considers the position those illegals are in was, and is, a Democrat-created ploy.

Stop playing political games with America’s budget.

Get rid of the 60-vote rule, invoke the 50-vote requirement, and get it done.

Shutdowns that were chaos, now OK? What was, then…isn’t…now…?

Liberal reader Samson G complains that calling the looming budget crisis a Schumer-Shutdown is a misnomer if Republicans control the process, but he’s wrong.

Republicans are in power but a Senate budget deal needs 60 votes, and the GOP at 51 members is 9 short of that necessity, meaning Democrats must help in order to avert a shutdown…judging by Schumer’s insistence on inserting DACA, that ain’t happenin’.

Face it – if 60 is the magic Senate number, Republicans do NOT ‘control the process’.

Besides…

Democrats raged against Republicans in 2013 when they tried to add O’care issues to the budget process, claiming it was wrong to add non-fiscal, non-financial issues.

Guess what?

The White House Budget Director was probably not the right person to call out on the issue of why Mick Mulvaney called the looming situation the ‘Schumer Shutdown’.

‘Cuz what Democrats are trying to do this time is what they condemned in 2013.

DACA is a ‘non-fiscal, non-financial’ issue. And, as Mick Mulvaney pointed out with pin-point, devastating accuracy today answering a CNN reporter, on top of that, the DACA program isn’t set to expire until March 05…it’s a non-critical issue, being politicized.

And, if memory serves, wasn’t it Democrats in the much-reported Trump meeting that spoke of a ‘clean’ DACA deal? (Clean, as in, not lumped in with other issues.) On so many levels, with so many contributing factors, Democrats OWN this shut-down.

So if Democrat Chuck Schumer makes DACA a deal-breaker, it’s HIS shutdown.

All hypocrisy aside, Chucky baby…it’s the SCHUMER SHUTDOWN.

Can a state attorney general be arrested for criminal harassment of businesses that follow federal law?

Xavier Becerra should already be under indictment for his criminal negligence while in Congress, but if not, then his latest threats against businesses might get him there…

“California Threatens To Prosecute Businesses That Cooperate With ICE”

Right – like businesses that comply with federal law would be, what? Anarchy?

Someone should ask Becerra when he crowned himself national security arbiter, given  his historic failure while a California congressman running the Democrat Caucus.

(Make no mistake, illegal immigration threatens national security.)

Is it too much to ask Democrats who threaten to enforce the law…

…to actually comply with laws themselves?

If FISA-abuses w-fake dossier caused collusion probe, should it be shut down?

When do two ‘wrongs’ make a ‘right’?

When Democrats create fake info to illegally get FISA warrants to spy on Republicans.

So, here we are…fake opposition research by a political party IN POWER AT THE TIME is used to get surveillance on an opposition party (an illegal act, by the way), and even now after 18 months of investigation, no evidence is found of a crime…

…and – yet – this special counsel investigating what didn’t happen still exists?

We admit being torn – on the one hand, Mueller’s fake investigation is costing American taxpayers millions of dollars, a blatant waste of money, but, then…on the other hand…

…huge amounts of evidence of Democrat crimes are being exposed as a result.

Any sane lawyer – when exposed at this level of hypocrisy – would run for the door.

What’s a Mueller to do?

If FISA-abuses were committed, they MUST be revealed

If anyone poses the concept that Americans would ‘lose trust’ in the federal gov’t. if the Obama administration abuses in the FISA program were revealed as fact, that’s an argument which simply can’t be given any credibility – given the seriousness of the acts.

And the hypocrisy will be that the same Liberals making such an argument are the ones now trying their best to bring down a sitting President…by any vile means necessary.

Besides, since when does a POLITICAL crime deserve a veil of modesty?

Sorry, that barn’s already burned down.

Democrats and their media masters created a huge lack of confidence in federal gov’t over the last year, if not the 8 years prior, and that crap can’t be put back in the cow.

The truth needs to be told; the perpetrators need to be exposed.

PERIOD.

FULL. STOP.
