How many Americans know the hidden truth about chain migration?

“Right now, only one in 15 of the more than 1 million immigrants who are admitted every year are given a visa because of their job skills or entrepreneurial ability.”

In other words, less than 7% of annual immigrants admitted are merit-based. And that means OVER 93% of immigrants admitted annually are simply a result of family links.

As John Fund points out “a doctor from Greece can’t immigrate here while a cab driver from Guatemala who is someone’s cousin can”. If that’s not crazy policy, what is?

(emphasis in quoted areas added)

This is why Democrats want to mis-define the ‘chain migration’ terminology as negative, racist, whatever works…to stop Republicans bringing the reality of such policy to light.

Happy with a chain-migration policy that excludes those who best serve our needs?

Neither are we.
