Simple math tells you healthcare is doable

Get a grip, folks, this repeal-&-replace mania is getting out of hand.

If every man, woman, and child in America needed aid it might strain the system, but the facts prove mathematically those with pre-existing conditions can be helped.

Couple that with waste in every annual budget, foreign aid, and useless scientific grants we dole out year after year…yeah, we have ways to pay for what’s needed.

Get the government out of the student-loan business, and stop funding studies on the mating habits of blind lizards – these are areas a private sector should handle.

(Besides, we’re pretty sure blind lizards do it the same way the sighted lizards do.)

If sanctuary cities spent more money on health care for their destitute citizens, and less for the illegal aliens in their midst, it would take a great burden off as well.

Why aren’t Liberals screaming for THAT solution?

Back to the ‘every-American’ scenario…if 300 million Americans all needed a $1000 annual stipend for their health insurance, that would be $300 billion, which is 1/10th of our annual budget (matches the 10% that Pres Trump wants to cut in spending).

Now, before anyone gets their panties in a bunch, understand that

  • millions of vets get healthcare through the VA…they don’t need $1000;
  • millions of retired Americans get pension healthcare…they don’t need $1000;
  • millions of Americans get on-the-job healthcare…they don’t need $1000;
  • millions of Americans get state medicaid…they don’t need $1000

…just to name a few.

Besides, between waste, idiocy, fraud, incompetence and useless programs (UN funding?) there’s more than enough ways to find (and fund) what needs doing…

…if those ‘smart-guys’ that make up Congress get their heads out of their butts.

And the CBO claims?

Didn’t that same group say healthcare cost under O’care would go down?

Hasn’t the Congress ever heard of the word ‘prioritize’?

As battle rages over the idiotic idea that Republicans need to ‘replace’ Obamacare once it’s repealed, every part of their plan comes under scrutiny and criticism.

(‘Idiotic’, because we believe the free-market system is the answer, not more law.)

A major flaw is the insistence on keeping ‘guaranteed issue’, which stops an insurer from refusing coverage, or charging more, for those with pre-existing conditions.

Every state that’s had its own guaranteed issue health law has seen failure, since it invites a flood of misuse and abuse in every manner and form its been written.

If our government is wedded to the idea, then it should be smart enough to write it in such a way that minimizes fraud and abuse aspects…but paying for it is key.

And therein lies the rub.

If Congress insists on such idiocy, then they should at least learn about prioritizing, as in…subsidizing health costs for Americans trumps foreign aid to Zimbabwe…

…or federal grants to fraudulent programs manipulating global-warming data.

Paying for Uncle Bob’s surgery beats throwing money down those ratholes…

every time.

(And, please, don’t rely on the CBO that missed HUGE Obamacare failures.)

Prediction: 4 yrs of ‘unexpected’ GOOD news?

During the Obama 8-yr reign, we heard monthly ‘unexpected’ bad economic news.

No one wanted to criticize Obama and Democrats, so bright-n-cheery views of how the world turns unexpectedly and harshly met with a dismal Reality of bad policies.

Fake news being what it is, we expect with a Republican-led government that the situation will be reversed: they’ll constantly drumbeat harsh, dismal expectations…

…with a surprised, ‘unexpected’ good turn of events…monthly.

(Really…in their world, who ever expects Republican policy to have good results?)

At least now it seems the ‘unexpected’ economic news has a tendency to be good.

Give the President a chance to work with Congress

So far, it looks like this President is keeping his word.

Granted, it’s early days for him, but we also have to realize it’s also the first time in 8 years Republicans in Congress have not been cowed by the Executive branch.

Let’s see how this plays out, as equal branches of government actually work out how to deal with each other.

Mr. Trump is a business man. and knows when successful deals are made, everyone has to get something from the result.

As a President, he has to work the deal so his Republican partners win as well. (He knows they have constituents too.)

You trusted him enough to elect him then, trust him to work the deals now.

‘Equal branches’ aren’t just empty words; they mean shared responsibility.

Fiddling while Obamacare burns down the economy

(This doesn’t change our opinion that the free-market system should be allowed to work it’s magic, but we must recognize the inevitable…lawmakers will make laws.)

All this teeth-gnashing about perfect legislation to replace Obamacare is theater.

Rule One…Obamacare is a disaster that needs to be torn down. So, do it.

Second, when was the last time Congress passed a major law that didn’t require a little (more often, major) tweaking? No law is nonamendable, or cast in concrete.

Don’t let an unobtainable ‘perfect’ become the enemy of ‘good enough’. President Trump should pull GOP lawmakers together, and get consensus on a basic model.

(Besides, ‘perfect’ is never the first thing we think of when discussing Congress.)

Adding necessary future options can be done with future legislation.

And, when in doubt…refer to ‘Rule One’ noted above.

Republicans have the better ideas, so, really, the only thing holding this up is trust in the leadership that there will be changes and additions allowed along the way.

There’s a huge difference between constructive criticism, and squabbling. Make the essential points, agree to the future options, make the necessary guarantees…

…and get ‘er done.

If Pres. Trump chooses to wrestle that pig, we say go for it

Some right-wing news people suggest we just ignore what the President says.

The contention (suddenly) being that what a President says doesn’t matter. But the fact is, such high-minded rhetoric sank the Republican Party for a number of years.

While they took the high road of ideas, the Democrats dwelt in the fever swamps…

…and, despite not having one idea worthy of the American people, dominated the election map for far longer than they deserved…with the help of a lapdog media.

(Ask ‘W’ about his final approval ratings. Ask McCain and Romney how they did.)

So, let’s not forget what President Trump is fighting against, okay? The last election proves Americans have had enough high-road mentality…they wanted a fighter.

There’s an old saying that, when you mud-wrestle a pig, only the pig enjoys it.

Well, the right-wing high and mighty can look down their noses at someone who will get down in the mud to wrestle that Democrat/media pig, but we say it’s about time.

Here’s an idea…when the right-wing media suggest we ignore a President who fights back…ignore what they say: obviously they don’t see what we’re up against.

We say…LET THE MUD FLY.

We’re long overdue for a President who’ll walk the high-road with bloody knuckles.

Implausible Deniability – ambiguous DNI answers to disingenuous Democrat-media questions

Pres. Trump’s accusations that Obama wiretapped him brought forth the clowns.

In typical ‘draw-the-veil’ fashion, Obama’s DNI (Dir of Natl Intelligence) Clapper was paraded before Democrat-friendly TV cameras to provide cover for his boss.

But a quick review of the vapid questions and analysis of his ambiguous responses tell us all we need to know…it’s just another Sham-stream media cover-up show.

You could have driven a bus through the holes in their questioning.

Their dog-&-pony shows are fast becoming a joke.
