So far, it looks like this President is keeping his word.

Granted, it’s early days for him, but we also have to realize it’s also the first time in 8 years Republicans in Congress have not been cowed by the Executive branch.

Let’s see how this plays out, as equal branches of government actually work out how to deal with each other.

Mr. Trump is a business man. and knows when successful deals are made, everyone has to get something from the result.

As a President, he has to work the deal so his Republican partners win as well. (He knows they have constituents too.)

You trusted him enough to elect him then, trust him to work the deals now.
