President did the right thing throwing the Democrat ‘memo’ back at them

When it comes to avoiding landmines, no one does it better than Mr. Trump.

House Intel Committee Democrats released a ‘memo’, supposedly in rebuttal of a GOP memo that shows Obama’s administration abused the FISA process to spy on Trump.

The Democrat memo was intentionally left full of sensitive information that would have to be redacted due to its nature – as soon as the Republicans did that, the landmine of ‘cover-up’ outrage Democrats would explode would’ve taken all the oxygen in the room.

But, this ain’t Mr. Trump’s first walk through a minefield. He knew the game, knew the players, and so he threw the memo back at them and told them to ‘do it right’…

then tweeted “The Democrats sent a very political and long response memo which they knew, because of sources and methods (and more), would have to be heavily redacted, whereupon they would blame the White House for lack of transparency. Told them to re-do and send back in proper form!” (emphases added)

Well done, Mr. President.

And, if these Democrats on the House INTELLIGENCE Committee don’t understand a need to keep sensitive intelligence information secret, after all this time…

…we question what they’re doing on that committee…or in Congress?

(And, by the way folks, let’s recognize once again that, absent the President’s tweet, his reasons for sending the ‘memo’ back to be done right would have gone unreported. So those who complain about his tweets may want to re-think their objections…otherwise, it’s tantamount to admitting they would prefer media blackouts, rather than truth.)

Glaring dishonesty of Obama’s Justice Dept in getting FISA warrants justify criminal action vs those involved

So…they trusted dirt-dossier author Steele until they had to fire him for lying…but then trusted him enough to hide his unreliability and firing during the FISA renewal process?

3 times…AFTER Steele was fired?

Andy McCarthy lays it out in a concise, damning style.

“In late October 2016, shortly after the first warrant was issued, the FBI terminated its relationship with Steele because he lied to the Bureau about his contacts with the media. But the Justice Department did not report this to the FISA court. Instead, when the first warrant expired in January 2017, the FBI and Justice Department sought its renewal by, again, relying on the credibility of the guy they’d booted for lying.”

“But that was not the half of it. Steele’s agreement with the FBI was that he would not communicate with the press. He made that agreement and then communicated with the press anyway — which showed he was unreliable, notwithstanding the FBI’s continued insistence to the contrary. He hadn’t just flouted the agreement by speaking to the press, though; he had clearly lied about doing so.” (all emphases added)

Yeah – the FBI and Justice Dept people involved in this fiasco need to be in jail.

But even though it was run by Obama, in a Chicago-thuggish fashion, don’t expect any of this to rub off on the Anointed One, after all…he’s the FIRST BLACK President.

His legacy will be that of the most weaponized gov’t in U.S. history, but he’s The One

…and therefore…untouchable.

A major question still needing an answer? Was the FISA court the 4-time unwitting dupe of a deceitful Dept of Justice and FBI…or a willing co-conspirator to their illegal acts?

Convene a Grand Jury, and let the indictments flow.

Considering nat’l security breaches House Dems have caused, a ‘wall’ is definitely a good thing

“House Intel committee infighting so fierce, wall could soon divide staff”

They’re talking about a physical wall, because of the FISA-gate issue, but considering the leaks by Democrats, and their miserable failure exposed last year from hiring totally unqualified Pakistani aide Amri Awan and his cohort, a digital wall would be advised.

Those Pakistani aides illegally accessed thousands of House Democrat Intel emails and we’re still waiting to find out how seriously that intelligence failure will hit America.

What with Schiff’s loose lips…and Democrats’ lousy hiring practices in general…

…we suggest the House Intel walls get built BEFORE the President’s border wall.

WAY BEFORE.

Faster…please.

To date, no one has clarified how an election can be ‘stolen’

There are 2 primary factors in the American election process…

  1. Votes are cast;
  2. Votes are counted.

To date, no one’s described how either one of those factors can be tampered with in a remote fashion outside the USA, by ‘hackers’ or any other type of foreign agents.

(If we’re talking about domestic tampering, Democrats can fill you in on their tactics.)

But, whether foreign or domestic, the only way an election process can be tampered with is by sabotaging 1) the casting of votes, or 2) the counting of cast votes.

It’s been roughly two years since the election-tampering question by foreign agents has been raised, and almost as long that federal probes have dug into possibilities. The fact premier law enforcement agencies haven’t found evidence on Trump speaks volumes.

But, please, by all means let the Mueller probe go on, because it’s been a fountainhead of damning information on the depths of depravity Democrats will seek to win elections.

We demand Rosenstein order Mueller to follow the guidelines he set forth…to ensure a “full and thorough investigation” and include “any matters” that arise from it, discovery that Hillary and Democrats funded a Russian-sourced dossier must be included…

…that is – if we’re willing to follow where the REAL evidence of tampering leads.

The one HUGE takeaway from all these ineffective attacks on Trump

In our lifetime, would ANYONE have believed somebody could survive the relentless onslaught of attacks conducted by a Clinton-Media-Leftwing cabal against opponents?

The one HUGE takeaway from all these (largely) ineffective attacks on Trump…

…either he’s a more wily and capable political animal than those attacking him (in which case he’s clearly the better person to now be sitting in the White House Oval Office)…

…or he’s innocent of anything and everything he’s being attacked for (in which case he’s clearly the better person to now be sitting in the White House Oval Office).

Either way – he’s clearly the better person to now be in the White House.

Why doesn’t anyone question how FBI heavies justified investigating Trump’s campaign in the first place?

We’re told Obama’s FBI opened a Trump-campaign investigation after getting news that a low-level campaign aide drunkenly mentioned Russia possibly having dirt on Hillary.

How exactly does that rise to the level of an FBI-worthy investigation?

If political party dirt-digging qualifies, the FBI would have no time for real crime.

That being said, why is there no outcry over the Nation’s law enforcement agency heavyweight partisan appointees weaponizing the FBI against opposition campaigns?

As noted in a salient article at the American Greatness blog

“When the FBI presented the so-called Steele dossier to the Federal Intelligence Surveillance Court in 2016, there is no evidence that it was accompanied by a good faith evaluation or summary of its contents.”

“Why does that matter? It goes to the question of whether Justice Department officials tried to pass off raw intelligence in support of a political agenda as the pretext for a bona fide national security investigation.”

“The FBI’s use of the Steele dossier fails every test for the proper handling of intelligence or evidence.” (emphasis added)

People – getting opposition research (even from foreign sources) isn’t a crime. Passing off dirt-digging opposition research as legitimate context for an investigation might be.

But if getting foreign opposition research was criminal, at this point…

…the only provable evidence of that type collusion is against Democrats.

Face it, folks, the only reason they did it was to torpedo the Trump campaign.

And the only chance they have of getting away with it is if they keep banging drums.

Those dismissing the House GOP memo exposing abuses ignore 1 critical fact…

Democrats and GOP never-Trump’ers claim the House memo, which outlines abuses of the FISA system, has no substance – but that claim is only valid if 1 factor is ignored…

…a July FISA application was denied BEFORE the dossier was included, and only was approved in October AFTER the dossier with it’s unsubstantiated info was added.

And, there’s this…

Then-Deputy FBI Directory McCabe testified the dossier was critical to the warrant ok.

Under oath.

Democrats are claiming the closed-door testimony is being taken out of context, but the House Intel chairman, Nunes, says he’ll release McCabe’s testimony if necessary.

Bottom line…

…anyone making the claim FISA abuses are overblown, even though the approved warrant application included unfounded hearsay to get it ok’d, have an uphill climb.

Even with duplicitous FakeNews media giving them a helpful assist, a tough climb.

An Investor Business Daily poll gives Democrats an ominous sign of what lies ahead:

“Some 55% of those said it was “likely” that the Obama administration “improperly surveilled the Trump campaign during the 2016 election.” There was an obvious partisan split among the responses, with 87% of Republicans and 55% of independents saying the improper spying took place, but only 31% of Democrats.” (emphasis added)

31% of Democrats saying it’s likely the Obama administration improperly surveilled an opposition political campaign has HUGE implications for mid-terms this November.

And should be troubling for those trying to whistle past the FISA-abuse memo now.

Now, it can only be even more troubling that it appears the dirty-dossier was not just a laundry-list of Russian hearsay, but can be sourced back to Hillary’s campaign.

KARMA: Looks like – for Democrats – the hits just keep on coming.

Maybe it’s time to give the Democrats a taste of their own medicine

Obama expanded abilities to surveille citizens before leaving office, with an executive order just days before his exit, which widened that capacity for 17 gov’t agencies.

Republicans claimed the act was done to make it easier to unmask those surveilled and (of course) Democrats scoffed at this charge, dismissing it as just partisan chatter.

Anyone with a reasoning faculty understands, if the Democrat position is correct, then the only way forward is to believe that Obama wanted Trump to have greater powers to monitor and expose the opposition Party…which on the face of it is a ludicrous premise.

But, if that’s the way Democrats want the game played, why not double down?

President Trump has more than enough evidence that PROVES the Democrat Party in general, and the Hillary Clinton campaign in specific, colluded with Russians to develop their opposition smear effort with the dirt-dossier they paid for through FusionGPS.

Game on:

Let’s push for expanded surveillance of suspected colluders ‘cuz, after all…Obama set up the surveillance expansion, so…it must be okay and critical for America…

…otherwise, Obama wouldn’t have let 11 months go by after developing a wider plan of NSA info-dissemination, or waited until just 8 days before leaving office to do so…

…and even Democrats demand that Russia-colluders MUST be exposed, right?

Right?
