FakeNews tries to portray Schumer and Pelosi as eager to rebut President Trump’s address, but we’re inclined to believe CNN’s using a cattle prod on them to show up.

There’s only one type of American exceptionalism Democrats believe in…

For most Americans, our Exceptionalism is defined by being the first nation to create a government ‘conceived in Liberty’ and run with the consent of the governed, resulting in a peaceful transfer of power when elections swing from one Party to another.
This concept is twisted and convoluted by the Left, who would have Americans believe we’re a Nation of conceit…that American exceptionalism is merely rampant nationalism.
That’s not true…but the Left never let facts get in the way of their narrative.
The only exceptionalism they’re interested in supporting, is being above the law.
And they’ll take that value to their graves.
We called it over a year ago – the Mueller investigation is a cover-up of Democrat acts.

We haven’t seen $2/gallon gas in decades, and curiously enough, not since Democrats rose to gubernatorial and legislative power in what was once the ‘Golden’ State.
And, while many shrug their shoulders and say that’s the price one must pay for needed tax revenues to help the less fortunate among us…who do they think is hit the hardest?
The very people they claim to care so much about.
High fuel prices affect everything we see and touch, since it all requires transportation and energy to acquire raw materials and supplies to produce, gather, and distribute.
Next time a liberal buddy tries to shrug off high fuel costs due to taxation, ask them why such high taxation isn’t needed in those states run by NON-DEMOCRATS.

Senate Republicans can pull together, and with their majority numbers, pass a bill. But if recalcitrant Never-Trump’ers like Corker and Flake undermine that effort, there’s this…

And just think of the solutions an effective border wall will provide: protecting a Nation’s borders ensures stronger national security, reduces drug cartel efforts, interrupts human trafficking, reduces the dangers of harmful diseases, protects fragile environmental eco-systems from being trampled, and redirects manpower to find existing illegal migrants.
Slush fund appropriations for Homeland Security, Defense, Health & Human Services, even the Interior Department can be diverted, based on national emergency needs.
And, consider this: $5 billion sounds big, until it’s compared to the existing annual $4tn budget. 4 trillion is 4,000 billion…the $5bn being bandied about is 0.125% of it.
That’s right – 1/10th of 1% of the annual budget.
Considering the payback an effective wall solution provides, it’s crazy not to fund it.
Finally, an effective wall solution will discourage future efforts of those who use children as useful shields to try getting into America, with often tragic consequences for kids.
If nothing else, fund the wall…to stop this humanitarian crisis from continuing.

Seems odd to hear all the talk about how Gen’l Mattis is now being hailed as the adult in the room, and what a serious hit to national security this could be with his departure.
