Our electoral college process is provided for by the Constitution in order to ensure each state has a voice in national politics where the Executive branch is concerned. If not for that process, the President could be chosen by a very few states with large populations.

But now, it seems 11 states and the District of Columbia are signing on to a ‘National Popular Vote Interstate Compact’ that gives its electoral votes to a popular vote winner.

Many of those states had given their electoral votes to the winner in those states; this change means votes of the entire country will coerce how these 11 states vote…

…NOT the votes of their own citizenry.

Consider this – absent California, Donald Trump won the popular vote (and we won’t even mention how many illegal aliens voted in that Left Coast sanctuary nightmare).

Remember, the state of California closes its poll last (except for Hawaii), and that it’s the most populous state in the Union (11 million MORE than next-ranked Texas).

This means a heavily-slanted Party vote within that state would force 11 states to vote as California did electorally…even if Party vote margins are equal or opposite that state.

The top 4 states in population have over 1/3 of the entire Nation’s population. Founding Fathers recognized that potential over-balance, and electorally rectified the situation.

Why citizens of 11 states and DC are willing to give up their vote is a mystery.

PREDICTION: Expect lawsuits after every election where the majority of votes within those 11 states are nullified by national popular vote margins for an opposition Party.

Ironically, many Democrat presidential hopefuls maintain eliminating the electoral process makes votes count, when, actually, the opposite is true…

…but that won’t stop them from perpetuating the lie.

420 House members voted on a resolution to make the Mueller report public.

(By law special counsel reports are held to be confidential by the AG, which explains why it’s a resolution, not a bill. Pres Trump tweeted support for making it public.)

There are 435 members in the House, four Republicans voted present, leaving eleven unaccounted for; media is curiously silent on who those eleven non-voters were…

…which begs the question.

John McCain served his country, ending up a POW in Vietnam. Being a prisoner of war doesn’t qualify anyone as heroic…serving their country does, which includes millions.

That said, ending a Senate career pushing an unsubstantiated dirt-dossier against a fellow Republican makes him a traitor to his country, by trying to undermine elections.

With all due respect to a daughter who’s lost her dad, John McCain owned the integrity he gave away, out of spite and narcissism; no amount of whitewash covers that act.

Donald Trump has spent the last 3 years fighting established entrenched elites, and he’s not about to allow anyone or anything delegitimizing the 2016 American election.

McCain served his country militarily & senatorially, but that doesn’t inoculate him from such despicable acts as assisting in degrading confidence in our election process.

PERIOD.

So, when Meghan McCain claims “My father was his kryptonite in life and his kryptonite in death”, she may want to remember…there’s a huge similarity between ‘kryptonite’…

…that CONGRESS, by law, gave to presidents decades ago.

In not doing so, the Democrat’s House bill negating a Republican president’s use of the law Congress created reveals it’s about reining in Pres Trump…not their presidents.

But remember…it ain’t over til the ‘over-ride lady’ sings.

Yes, 12 GOP senators voted to negate the President’s nat’l emergency declaration, but the President will veto the bill, and that means an over-ride vote is necessary now.

Understand this – it was ALWAYS going to be about the necessary over-ride vote.

So before the panties-in-a-bunch crowd starts howling ‘traitor’, think about this: what may appear as a GOP defection could actually be a deception…to expose Democrats.

After all, to over-ride a presidential veto requires 2/3 vote in both Houses of Congress, and it’s the only way, now, that Democrats can stop the national emergency declaration.

We’re not sure Republicans are capable of such machinations, but it could well be that they devised a scheme where Democrats, emboldened by Republicans willing to back Democrat efforts, will go all out on the over-ride vote…leaving them exposed for 2020.

Lest anyone forget, President Trump got elected primarily on the immigration issue.

(And many of the Democrats winning House seats were in Trump-leaning districts; plus, there are twelve Democrat senators up for re-election in the 2020 elections as well.)

Despite push-polling to get contrary results the American public still want security on our borders, and this could well be a GOP strategy to re-gain control of the House…

…and even pick up a couple more Senate seats as well.

The veto over-ride vote, and how GOP ‘traitors’ vote this time, will be revealing.
