Wendy V takes exception to our ‘overly hasty’ condemnation of Senate Republicans, in their failure to accomplish their 2017 ‘first order of business’…repealing Obamacare.

Wendy – congressional Republicans and hopefuls ran their 2016 campaigns on the fact that Obamacare was the single largest contributing factor to sub-par economic growth.

As a global leader, everything we have, all the power we enjoy, is economically hinged.

Something so vital, so compelling, should command immediate resolution.

We believe breaking that economic strangle-hold shouldn’t be difficult to accomplish in seven months…when they’ve had seven years since it’s inception to plan alternatives.

But then, maybe we suffer from the hard open-mindedness of high expectations.

(UPDATED) If Betsy McCaughey is correct, and the only reason Republicans failed to repeal O’care was due to Medicaid reform, how hard was it to set that part aside?

We reiterate – if Obamacare’s an economy-killer, repeal should’ve been done.

“…the reason I think people feel we’re under-performing is because too many artificial deadlines — unrelated to the reality of the complexity of legislating — may not have been fully understood…”

…meaning (we guess), who would be so naive as to expect ‘done by a certain point’ to mean his ‘first order of business’ should take only a mere unrealistic 7 months?

After all, the GOP only had 7 YEARS to prepare for his ‘first order of business’, and hey, we should all understand the ‘complexity of legislating’ means deadlines are a no-no.

What to do, what to do? Oh, hey, blame it on Trump…yeah, yeah,that’s the ticket…the President’s a neophyte – and Americans are too simple to understand complexity.

Senator McConnell, you…and your fellow leadership GOP Senators…have turned the ‘world’s most deliberative body’ into the laughing stock of legislatures everywhere.

But, don’t feel bad…polls show America doesn’t expect much from Congress anymore.

You know…complexity being what it is and all.

What could be more diametrically opposed, than a Statue of Lady Liberty in hijab attire?

If this isn’t meant as satire, the congressman who tells those objecting to the painting to relax, it’s symbolic of ‘…inclusion, acceptance, and freedom…’, needs a reality check.

Liberty, as defined, is the power to do as one pleases. When you consider women can’t venture out in public alone, or drive a car per sharia law…what part fits that definition?

And those objecting to the painting because of religion aspects are just as off base.

It’s not objectionable because it violates separation of church & state…

...it’s objectionable because it mis-represents sharia-based Islam tyranny.

Never-Trump Republicans are the new useful idiots for Democrats and the Left.

They oppose him for one reason, and one reason only – he’s not one of them.

In light of the unconstitutional and corrupt 8 years we’ve just survived, we can’t possibly think of any other feasible reason for ANY Republican to deny Trump’s presidency.

Was philanderer Bill Clinton’s White House intern-prowling any less crass or uncouth?

In a Trump-Russia collusion meme, the media’s hyping what MIGHT be real…in the Clinton-Lynch meeting, the same media dodges reporting on what IS REAL.

Just one more YUUUGE reason to turn disavow Fake-News.

The hoax ‘Russia collusion’ meme is based on the premise that nation ‘hacked’ DNC servers to spread unflattering emails that torpedoed Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

Fake-News outlets continue to hammer the ‘Trump did it’ narrative.

Yet, recent news of suspect DNC aides, with a track record of hacking and exploiting for cash the results of such activities, aren’t included in the investigation as an alternative?

And Fake-News outlets refuse to speculate on this potential answer.

Why?

The probe against Trump campaign aides has’t found ANY evidence of collusion with Russia, after almost a year of investigation…yet alternative suspects are ignored.

What’s more logical…

• an empty year-long probe will someday yield results proving Trump did it…or…
• DNC aides with a history of hacking and blackmailing for profit were responsible?

We hate to give him the honorific ‘senator’, so we’ll just refer to Richard ‘Stolen-Valor’ Blumenthal as a Democrat who attacks the President, then whines when called out.

The liar (who is a senator, unfortunately) accused the President of weaponizing the DoJ when Mr. Trump’s Atty. Gen’l. Jeff Sessions warned publishers about classified leaks.

The President addressed Blumenthal’s difficulties with honesty, and, as Democrats will typically do, Blumenthal immediately whined that the President was ‘bullying’ him.

Hey, when a proven liar gets called out, that’s not bullying…that’s honesty.

But, then, considering Blumenthal’s fast-&-loose version of combat military service, why believe a ‘stolen-valor’ Democrat should ever be able to understand the difference?

Connecticut may not have a problem with his tendency to embellishment, but we do.

There’s only one word to describe this – DELICIOUS!

God forbid journalists should be asked to place national security above partisan politics. Just promise to invoke rule of law, and the Left-wing goes into wad-yer-panties mode.

Democrats, among them Richard ‘I-served-in-Vietnam-before-I-didn’t’ Blumenthal, are voicing concerns that the President’s Justice Dept may be ‘weaponizing’ vs FakeNews.

Considering lengths Obama went to weaponize the FBI and CIA intel agencies against Republicans, the HUGE hypocrisy of this latest Democrat complaint is mind-boggling.

If Pres. Trump is ‘weaponizing’ the DoJ against FakeNews, we have only this rejoinder:

And Blumenthal, lying about serving in Vietnam when the closest he got to mounting a military offensive was Toys-for-Tots deployment in Washington DC, should be grateful…

…’cuz if Mr. Trump is weaponizing the Justice Dept…

…it’ll be the closest Blumenthal ever got to anything  remotely considered a weapon.

(Until, of course, several years from now…when we’ll be hearing how he dodged lethal sniper-fire on his way home from a late dinner with fellow DC swamp-dwellers.)

FakeNews should have responsible standards when it comes to classified leaks.

But hey, we’re a Republic…let’s ask the citizenry if national security should come first.
