News articles indicate that, no matter how much a non-issue this Russia collusion thing is proven to be, Democrats plan to stay on that message, for no other reason than optics.

Harping on even a proven lie helps them drag President Trump’s approval down.

This might be a great time for those states with precocious Democrats to launch ‘impeach campaigns’ of their own, to hammer these time-wasting, tax-dollar wasting politicians.

When a politician openly admits to wasting time on non-issues, it’s time for them to go.

BlueCollar’s opinion of the Mueller special counsel situation is…evolving.

As new information flows in and details get more, well, detailed, it does beg the question of why a criminal prosecutor of his caliber is special counsel in an intelligence investigation?

Counterintelligence probes of this matter requires an intelligence expert. Attorney General Sessions should insist that such an expert take over the lead, as soon as possible.

If Mueller’s to stay on (which we’re sure will be the caterwauling demand of the unhinged… err, Left), he can, in an advisory role, despite predictable, inevitable protests of the Left.

Common sense dictates it takes an intel-expert to hunt down an intel-expert.

(Besides, with the self-identified leaker Comey as a friend, Mueller is tainted anyway.)

An article at American Greatness is throwing a whole new light on Comey, and what he may have had in the back of his mind when his testimony took on a legalese bent.

…it’s time to set the record straight, install an AG-Sessions approved counter-intelligence special counsel, and move the ‘watch-dog’ Mueller to an advisory capacity…now.

So, here we are…on the activist American stage set by none other than Obama, and no doubt he’s smirking that little trademark ‘YES!’ grin he’s known for upon hearing the news, that the attack on GOP and police in a park mirrors the play they praise…in another park.

Obama’s the one who id’d Republicans as the Enemy.

Obama’s the one who advised Democrats to bring a gun to the fight.

Rush Limbaugh is pointing out how inflammatory the current Democrat leadership has been in their vicious, ‘fight-in-the-streets’ verbal rampages they’ve been verbalizing.

It isn’t just the current Democrats, people, it’s been going on for the last Obama decade.

Forget ‘Katie bar the door’ Rush…for this defensive, now it’s ‘Katie get your gun’ time.

This is getting very ugly folks.

While former FBI director Comey tries to feed suspicions over the President’s one-on-one meetings, it’s surprising no one has thought maybe he was already a leak suspect.

After all, what better way to identify a leaker of information discussed in meetings…

…when he was the ONLY OTHER ONE in the room during the meetings?

BCP believes that special counsel Mueller should be re-tasked, for three reasons.

First, reports indicate intel agencies have been conducting investigations for 11 months;  as of this date, not one shred of evidence supports there was collusion with Russia, and Comey himself just testified that there’s no evidence…which justifies closing the case.

(Let’s face it – if there was hard intel that supported the Trump-Russia collusion meme, the deepstate leakers within the intelligence community would’ve leaked it by now, especially considering the hostility Comey, a self-identified leaker, seems to feel for this President.)

Second, while Mueller is being touted as ‘Mr. Impartiality’ within the DC beltway, there’s a legitimate skepticism of that title with his many Democrat-friendly assistants he’s hired; one of them, in the not too distant past, very notably a Clinton Foundation lawyer.

(It doesn’t take a political science degree to see where this would end up going.)

Rehashing the FBI’s one-year investigation-to-nowhere achieves no purpose, other than to keep Democrats happy by antagonizing the President, keeping him under a cloud.

But, even if the President doesn’t exert his privilege and dismiss Mueller, he can cut back the scope of Mueller’s activities, since Comey himself admitted no collusion is evident.

And, dismissing Mueller would send the Left into a screaming rage (admittedly, we enjoy the thought of that, but sadly, it would further seed a Democrat-media cloud of suspicion).

But since Comey exposed himself as a leaker, it doesn’t take a huge leap of logic to see that any FBI investigations of leaking were probably not carried out…too aggressively.

The Justice Dept should narrow Mueller’s scope to investigating 1) where the leaks came from, and 2) to what extent Obama-era illegal unmasking of American citizens was done.

Which leads to the third reason (our favorite, by the way)…

It would keep a cloud of suspicion over Democrats for a while, tho considering the lineup of Democrats working with Mueller, we have no doubt that investigation would end fast.

(Update) Problem is, he’s a buddy of Comey’s, so there’s conflict of interest issues.

As usual, Democrats think they’ve finally found the wooden stake they can drive through the President’s agenda, spending their millions to win a House seat in Georgia.

They outspent Donald Trump in the presidential campaign, and came up short. If history is any indication, the June 20 election result will prove just as frustrating and elusive.

But that won’t get them to stop predicting future negative hopes as a GOP ‘referendum’.

As always, we wonder why predicted losses are always a referendum on Republicans…
