No-Brainer questions on political ‘energy’ choices

Do you want cheap affordable energy, or do you want prices to ‘skyrocket‘?

Understanding that, when energy costs rise, it affects every aspect of our lives.

Happy with food and electricity prices? Do you enjoy paying over twice what you should have to, at the gas pump? Were you all warm and fuzzy over heating costs last winter?

This is what happens when ‘green energy’ is being hyped unnecessarily. Over the last 18 years, the global temps have remained flat or fell…so, why add more EPA regs?

Earth’s not getting warmer, our seas aren’t rising, glaciers are still here, and polar ice isn’t melting…no amount of Obama/Gore-tastic hype can refute these scientific facts.

But, for Democrats, it’s about lining their pockets, while they enrich their fatcat billionaire buddies like Steyer and Soros, who benefit financially from policies of kept politicians.

So, who do you trust…

…those who want to keep energy costs down, making life affordable for all…

…or those who want to drive costs up, enriching a chosen few…

…while making life miserable for the rest of us?

Maybe the more important question is…

…do you support enriching those who make your daily energy costs affordable…

…or do you support enriching those who make your daily energy costs unaffordable?

And, of course, the Nov-election question, for honest Democrats and Independents…

…do they hate Republicans more than they love affordable living?

Let’s face it…when it comes to energy…someone is always getting rich…so…

…would you rather it be at your expense, or your pleasure?

To attack a non-existent global warming trend, Obama announces plans to cut CO2 energy plant emissions by 30% more over the next 16 years…but wait a minute…

…there’s been no global warming for the last 18 years.

We’re past believing he believes in anything. Our guess…?

His policies have done more to enrich the top 1% he so vilifies, and consequently done more to increase the ‘income inequality’ he so often laments, over the last 5+ years.

So, follow the money. Either he’s buying advance stocks that will always be positively affected by such inanities, or he’s enriching Tom Steyer, Soros, and Buffett…

…who will take care of him after he leaves office. Either way…

…such unethical acts hurt middle-&-low income earners he claims to champion.

Turns out that Obama may have a ‘no deserters left behind’ policy.

Military members in his unit claim Bergdahl walked off his post, before his capture.

If true, we wonder…Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty were left to die in Benghazi while manning their posts defending Americans during the overnight attack in 2012…

…would Obama have sent them help…if they had deserted their post instead?

He’ll break the law for an American traitor…but not for American heroes?

Over the weekend, the much-respected Andy McCarthy penned an article for NRO.

He discusses the challenge of finding strong public support for impeachment, since the Senate is currently controlled by Democrats, where an impeachment would be tried.

But BlueCollar has noted previously how to change that dynamic immediately…

…the Senate won’t be Democrat-controlled if they’re included in the impeachment.

The fraud that is Obamacare was perpetrated on Americans with lies from both Obama and Congressional Democrat co-conspirators using ‘you can keep your plan’ rhetoric.

Impeaching Senate Democrats along with Obama on their breach of covenant with the American people in this massive fraud, immediately swings the Senate to the GOP…

…because impeached Senators cannot sit in judgment on their own impeachment!

McCarthy makes a case that, unless public outrage is enough that their support can swing 2/3 of the Senate, Obama’s lawlessness (abetted by Democrats) will continue.

He explains that political abuses of power which violate public trust are impeachable.

He just didn’t do the math…impeaching Democrat co-conspirators in the Senate, along with Obama, swings Senate trial-control to the Republican Senators.

Including the breach of trust on Americans that is Obamacare, as one of the articles of impeachment (and citing Democrat Senators as co-conspirators), defangs Harry Reid and his Democrat Senate cohort, ending need for protracted public support entreaties.

Mr. McCarthy very succinctly lays out an impeachment justification…

5 top Taliban commanders have been released from Gitmo, for an American hostage.

Army Sgt Bergdahl was taken captive June 2009. America will welcome his return.

And BCP will refrain from accusations of lawlessness by Obama, even though, by law, he was required to notify Congress…but refused to do so, without a second thought.

Some in Congress are concerned about the message this sends the Taliban; that it  encourages more hostage-taking attempts against our American military, not just in Afghanistan…but anywhere around the globe where terrorism runs rampant.

That train has left the station. We don’t see how his releasing Taliban adds more fuel to a Hate America fire, considering weaknesses Obama’s already shown.

BCP notes with some curiosity that the administration says security measures are in place to make sure that those exchanged Taliban don’t pose a security threat.

(The ‘measures’ are extremely thin; he’s releasing these Taliban to Qatar security, and they’re under a 1-year travel ban that’s supposed to keep them in Qatar. Fat chance.)

Making deals with murderous terrorists is never a good thing, but maybe now we can be pleased that our ‘Liar-in-Chief’, Barack ‘keep your health plan’ Obama, made the deal.

If Obama can lie to Americans…surely it’s no struggle for him to lie to a Talibani?

(Many Americans probably never thought they’d be thankful to have a liar as president! But hey, if Obama can lie to pass a health plan, why not lie to save Sgt. Bergdahl? And, besides, who among us thinks he would easily lie to America…but not to the Taliban?)

Despite an actual reduction of veterans in the VA system over the last decade due to the (forseeable) deaths of aging WWII, Korea, and Vietnam vets, she insists 2 million veterans added as a result of Iraq and Afghanistan are now overloading the system.

And stated that when we go into war, we should think of those consequences…implying of course, that the cowboy, President Bush, didn’t think of the consequences.

But ‘W’ did think of the consequences: to symbolize his understanding of the depth of that realization, he very publicly stopped playing golf, while Americans were at war.

(How many rounds has Obama played…with Americans still in harms way? 173)

And, by the way, the VA abuses weren’t driven by an overload of veterans…but by government worker greed for undeserved bonuses, amongst senior managers.

As for accountability, two can play at that game. Please remind her who the House Speaker was in 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010…and received 5 IG audits of the VA.

Congress has oversight responsibility for the VA. Democrats controlled both the House and Senate. Could someone explain to Ms. Botox what the word ‘oversight’ means; that it’s used here in the context of ‘controlled supervision’ and ‘watchful care’? Thanks.

While you’re at it, explain ‘responsibility’ to Lady Botox. She expects others to accept that burden of obligation…but fails miserably to acknowledge her lack in that regard.

Seems fact need not apply, when it comes to the political game of Dodging Culpability.

Or, we could just Blame It On The Botox.

Either way, you’ve got to ask yourself…how is it she gets re-elected every two years?

Shinseki resigning for a VA scandal is like Obama taking credit for destroying al-Qaeda.

Neither of them did what was necessary…

…and neither the VA scandal nor al-Qaeda are going away.

Woke up this morning…the VA scandal and al-Qaeda are both still there.

But, unlike his false claims about al-Qaeda, Obama IS responsible for the VA scandal.

First, think about this: Eric Shinseki was a 4-star Army General. His entire adult life was about following orders from his superiors; ultimately, from his commander-in-chief.

Is there any belief he disobeyed orders from Obama while serving as the VA secretary? Of all Obama’s appointees, General Shinseki was the most likely to follow orders to a ‘t’.

With over 40 years military service, he would have been appalled by the mistreatment of our American veterans in the VA system, and would’ve done something if he could.

He had full authority as Obama’s VA secretary, in charge of Veterans Affairs since ’09.

But you can bet, as the military man Shinseki was, he followed orders meticulously…

…orders given him by his boss…Barack H. Obama.

On the battlefield, linear logic tells a general that his soldiers, responsible for personal appearance and equipment upkeep, must give 1st priority to their weapons…

…not spit-shined shoes or combed hair.

Similarly, linear logic tells him top priority in a VA system must be veterans’ health care; no amount of mindless blather about less important issues can hide that truth.

Doesn’t the media find it at all odd that the VA’s top priority – the health and well-being of veterans – was not receiving the attention it deserved from its Secretary?

Just 2 weeks ago, Shinseki claimed ignorance of a 2010 VA memo sent by his under-Secretary to VA regional directors…warning against use of deceptive, deadly patient scheduling practices…and calling for ‘immediate action’ to correct those deceptions.

Plus, from Obama on down, during speeches and Congressional hearings, all spoke of addressing VA education, job training, homelessness, implying equal importance… bragging about their achievements in these areas, while dodging healthcare questions.

Dying homeless vets don’t care about being homeless; dying jobless vets don’t dwell on being jobless; and dying uneducated vets don’t worry about what they don’t know…

…they care that they’re dying! All else is simply a distraction.

Now, Obama and his media lapdogs would have us believe a retired 4-star general, with 40+ years military experience, would not focus on this most pressing VA issue?

Ridiculous – unless he was ordered not to focus on it. Lest we forget, in 2009 Obama and his Democrat Congress minions were praising the VA system, to push Obamacare.

Shinseki’s resignation is a distraction. The most pressing question remains…

…what were his orders, from his boss…

…Barack ‘veteran-care-is-a-sacred-trust’ Obama?

(As for those who wish to – ONCE AGAIN – push the blame onto George W. Bush…

…it would be wise to remind them that Obama’s transition team was warned, after the 2008 elections, of purposely inaccurate VA waiting times and VA scheduling failures…

…and Congress, responsible for VA oversight, was Democrat-controlled as of 2007;  five Inspector General audits, identifying abuses, were given them through 2010.)

For that matter, put Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi right up there with Obama…

Reid (Senate Majority Leader) and Pelosi (then Speaker of the House) controlled the Congress (thus, VA oversight); Obama had the White House…yet nothing was done?

Now they let Shinseki take the blame, meaning a 4-star general ignored a Top Priority?

Are we to believe a 4-star general to be that stupid when it comes to VA priorities…or…

…was Shinseki ordered to keep his eye OFF the ball?

How does firing Shinseki solve problems at the VA, when he was just following orders?

The president lays out the focus for each cabinet secretary to follow.

Fire Obama.

Are Americans okay with our veterans dying for lack of care, while tax dollars fund medical professionals in the VA to perform non-medical union business instead?

Federal employee unions have been doing this for years, Mark Tapscott of the Washington Examiner reminds BlueCollar…they did a series on it in February.

For BCP, it takes on a different perspective when veterans die because of VA neglect.

As a Marine who served in Vietnam, it’s infuriating to see how callous Democrats, this Administration…and the mainstream media…are, to the plight of veterans who stood up for an America that now won’t stand up for them.

Obama and his team hid bad news of VA (criminal) neglect for 5 years, to push O’care.

They did nothing. Repeat: they did nothing about it.

They kept VA abuses hidden for a political purpose of pushing Obamacare on America.

Now, Harry Reid and Senate Democrats refuse to bring House VA reform bills to a vote.

Repeat: Senate Democrats refuse to bring VA reform bills to the floor for a vote.

‘Politics ain’t beanbag’…

…but, the way Democrats treat them…it sure looks like America’s veterans are.
