Powerline blogger channels BlueCollar open query about House Democrats’ aides & Hezbollah

Upon hearing of Obama enabling an Iranian-backed terror group’s drug trafficking and using used-car sales to launder their drug money, at Powerline, blogger Paul Mirengoff asks the same question BlueCollar posed in an earlier blog this morning

…were the Awan group of House Democrat aides part of that Hezbollah effort?

This could be huge.

Is the Democrat aide scandal tied to Obama’s ‘let-them-deal-drugs’ Hezbollah policy?

Politico reports that Obama wanted his Iran deal so strongly he ordered a stand-down policy with the DEA, that had built up a strong case against Hezbollah drug-trafficking.

Got that? A terrorist organization was given carte-blanche to run cocaine into the U.S. by an American president who was hell-bent on giving Iran a nuclear capability.

Who would ever imagine such a scenario?

Now, we’re learning this Iran-backed terror group, Hezbollah, was laundering the money from their drug-smuggling “…by, among other things, buying American used cars and shipping them to Africa.” Used-car schemes…where have we heard that one before?

Oh, right, the House Democrat aide scandal involving Pakistani IT shenanigans. One of those men ran an ‘auto retail business’…the aides worked for House Democrats who were on House Intelligence and Foreign Affairs committees…and those Democrats’ emails were breached thousands of times by the aides during their employment.

You think maybe all this is tied in somehow?

Mueller’s ‘biased’ investigators aren’t the problem…CROOKED ones are…

All the talk about biased lawyers on Mueller’s team amounts to so much hot air…

…of course they’re biased…everyone has a bias.

Whether they can do an honest job with their bias held in check is the question, along with another one…were some of his lawyers cooking up a FusionGPS strategy?

Discussing a possible ‘insurance plan’ gives rise to conjecture that one of Mueller’s FBI lawyers – along with the guys’ mistress…another Mueller lawyer – were discussing just that IN THE OFFICE of Andrew McCabe…a top FBI director…before the election.

In terms of trust, there once was a standard that honest Dept of Justice appointees lived by…avoiding even an ‘appearance’ of impropriety…which it appears is now roadkill, a victim of the anti-Trump rage that runs over anything and everything in its path.

Yes, the FBI agent involved was dismissed from the Mueller team…

…but reasons for his dismissal were kept secret from Congress for months, and with it now appearing that the agent may have been involved in the Democrat dirty-dossier hit job, bias becomes irrelevant as outright corruption and a cover-up rears its ugly head.

Talk about an ‘APPEARANCE OF IMPROPRIETY’ – if this isn’t it, what is?

What did Mueller know, when did he know it, and why was he stonewalling Congress? And as Mueller’s boss, Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein should be held accountable…

…NOW. The President should fire him, and Sessions should assign a replacement.

As for Mueller, if he was of unquestionable integrity, he would’ve done the right thing.

As it is now, his attempted cover-up of the Strzok-Page ‘insurance policy’ disqualifies him from an ‘unquestioned’ status, and exposes him as a partisan Democrat hack.

Does the Party of the ‘Bill Clinton electability conduct standard’ have any credibility on conduct?

With midterm elections facing us next year, and the early stage preparations by Democrats to pose as champions for women’s rights, it’s a question worth asking…

Does the Party of the ‘Bill Clinton electability conduct standard’ have any credibility?

Bill preyed on women and wife Hillary ran interference for him as he did. They personify the very misconduct they accuse their opponents of displaying, and as history reveals, Democrats had no problem with it for decades, based on their election results.

For the Republicans, it will be a challenge to deal with such issues going forward, ‘cuz it sure does look like Democrats are polishing their ‘War-on-Women’ strategy.

Question: if unproven allegations of sexual misconduct are the new-norm, even if untrue what stops Democrats running in future elections from leveling them at every opponent?

Fire Rosenstein, bring on REAL oversight of special counsel

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein has shown either an inability or unwillingness to conduct proper oversight where special counsel Mueller is concerned, and regardless of which descriptive fits that lack, deserves to be fired…immediately.

For four months after FBI agent Strzok was demoted, he refused to tell Congress why.

Strzok signed off on the DNC-Hillary-Obama funded FusionGPS sleaze document in July, and then, in August, he was ‘handpicked’ to supervise the FBI investigation into Russia collusion based on the fabricated, unsubstantiated ‘dossier’ he signed off.

There are just too many examples of Rosenstein’s oversight negligence.

But, hey…he’s a political appointee, who serves at the whim of the President.

Mr. President, fire Rosenstein…and let AG Sessions appoint an honest overseer.

A cheerleader for Hillary ran the FBI investigation of Hillary’s emails…and it’s no big deal?

The FBI investigator Peter Strzok, who texted ‘Hillary should win 100,000,000 to 0’ was responsible for changing report verbiage so Hillary wouldn’t be prosecuted

…and no one sees this as a problem?

Everyone focuses on a false Trump-Russia ‘collusion’ meme, but real collusion was going on between the Obama administration, weaponized intel agencies, and the FBI…

…all working to drag the Queen-of-Lies over the election Finish Line.

IBD’s editorial notes how important this guy was to the Hillary email probe: “Strzok had motive, means and opportunity to sabotage that investigation.” But that’s not all…

“…Strzok and Page were also deeply involved in the FBI’s investigation into alleged Russia meddling, which started almost immediately after Comey let Clinton off the hook, and was sparked by a dodgy Clinton-financed “dossier.” In fact, according to CNN, Strzok signed the document making the Russia probe official.” (emphasis added)

  1. FBI agent Strzok watered down the Hillary report to non-indictable language;
  2. signed off on the FusionGPS ‘dossier’ being used to attack Trump; and
  3. arguably referred in a text message to that sleazy, fabricated document as ‘an insurance policy’ to possibly be used to make sure Trump didn’t get elected.

So those passing off Strzok’s texts as merely strong political support for a Democrat candidate can’t ignore the facts as laid out above, and Mueller stonewalled Congress on making those texts available until he was forced into relinquishing them.

Rosenstein’s responsible for allowing this travesty to continue, and should be fired.

Think tax-cuts don’t work? Look what they did for North Carolina recently

North Carolina’s Tax Cuts Are a Model for the Nation

Pull quote: “Just five short years ago, our economy was floundering and unemployment hovered around 10 percent. Since then, we’ve added 245,000 people to our labor force and the unemployment rate has been slashed almost in half.”

In 2013 when the tax-cuts passed, the state’s economic outlook ranked #22: today, #3.

Named ‘most competitive state’ in the Nation 2015, tied with Texas for that rank in 2016 and the state won it again this year. Forbes ranks NC best-in-country-for-business.

Key, though, is to restrain spending along with tax-cuts…not something Big Government Democrats (and some Republicans) want to hear…or do.
