True Republicans should put the ‘debate’ back into debates

In drag-racing, how fast you go is directly related to how much you can spend. It’s not about being the best driver. Money buys top engine performance.

Unfortunately, the same holds true in politics. It’s not about who can be the best leader, or who has the greatest ideas. It’s about who gets the most votes.

And money, spent on day-by-day campaign advertising, makes the difference.

Modern-day politics continues to be more about money than ideas. Problem is, the leader you get crossing the Finish Line may be another Barack or Jimmy.

And proven leaders like Rick Perry and Scott Walker run out of cash, and drop out.

We can’t control this after a party candidate has been chosen, but we can before.

Of the 17-some candidates that were still in the ring as of Aug. 01, the GOP should be intent on picking the most qualified and creative… not the best money gatherer.

BCP challenges Republican leadership to set up a digital venue for its primary.

Give each candidate a 5-minute video opportunity to answer 6 specific questions on foreign and domestic issues, and post those videos on-line for voters to review.

Give each candidate a 3-minute rebuttal video-op for any five opponent videos they feel most compelled to challenge, and post those rebuttals on-line for viewing.

Finally, give each candidate a 5-minute rebuttal video-op against the 2 candidates most effectively challenging their views, and post that final rebuttal grouping on-line.

Today’s leaders NEVER go before an audience without detailed preparation…

…why demand any less from those who are competing to become that leader?

Everyone talks about taking money out of politics…here’s the chance, Republicans.

The question Rush Limbaugh didn’t answer…

On today’s show, a caller, disturbed and saddened over the sudden departure of Scott Walker from the GOP 2016 field, asked Rush a question he didn’t answer

…does he think Trump “…could possibly be helping Hillary?”

“…could he (Trump) be working for her”?

Read the transcript for yourself…his response was to ask her who she liked in the Republican field that was remaining, after Walker’s departure.

Rush didn’t come close to answering her question.

And as Rush always says…’sometimes what isn’t said can be just as informative’.

So if a religion encourages lying to further its doctrine…

Those slamming Ben Carson for saying he wouldn’t support a Muslim for president don’t understand the lengths to which Muslims are allowed to go to further Islam.

In quite a few verses, the Qur’an advocates lying to non-believers (Taqiyya).

That being the case, if a Muslim president in the future were to swear to uphold the U.S. Constitution, how could anyone know whether the oath is real?

Now ask yourself this…if they’re encouraged to lie to further their cause, what good does it do to ask a Muslim if it’s true, that their Holy book encourages lying?

Better to read the Qur’an personally, to gain that information…but not many will.

If ever a gov’t agency needed drones, it’s the Postal Service

FedEx and UPS can operate at a profit, but the Postal Service can’t

…and hasn’t, for the last 10 years.

How many private businesses would still be open, after losing $51.7 BILLION?

If the USPS won’t take a page out of UPS’s book, they should seriously consider the use of drones…it would reduce labor costs, and drones don’t need pensions.

Of course, the postal union would have a cow.

(We can see the Postal worker picket signs now…‘Don’t drone me, bro’)

At what point did the White House condone Muslim child-rape?

Disgusting stories are beginning to emerge.

We’re learning American soldiers were told to ignore child-rape and beatings, all for the sake of ‘respecting’ a Middle East culture that accepts it as normal.

If that’s the case, it’s time to pull our military out, and fence that ‘culture’ in.

Set up no-travel zones, and let their isolated citizens decide how they want to live.

(A nation’s citizenry, after all, must decide to accept decency, or condone evil.)

And. let’s demand that Obama answer why such rules-of-engagement are allowed, and that he order our military to no longer ignore such abuses…anywhere.

But then…will he?

After all, Obama’s the one who thinks Islam is consistent with our Constitution.

Which begs the question…

…when will honor-killings and child-rape become the norm…in America?

Gutless, feckless lawmakers open the door to a lawless executive branch

Reading how Obama’s Dept of Homeland Security has widened the definition of the ‘specialized knowledge’ criteria for L-1B visa applicants, a sudden reality occurs.

Satisfying special interest groups without alienating voters is a tricky business.

When the Legislative branch wants to cover its tracks, or leave ‘back-doors’ during the crafting of law, the process opens itself to abuse by a lawless White House.

No problem if done for America’s gain…big problem, if done for personal gain.

The definition of each is a very selective process.

The White House thinks supporting our Constitution is offensive?

You.Can’t.Make.This.Stuff.Up.

Obama’s press secretary says that supporting our U.S. Constitution is offensive.

Ben Carson, a GOP candidate, was asked if he thought Islam was consistent with our U.S. Constitution. He said ‘no’, and won’t advocate a Muslim for president.

When Josh Earnest, Obama’s press flack, was asked about what Dr. Carson had said, he accused Carson of harboring ‘offensive views’.

If requiring a candidate to have views consistent with the Constitution is offensive…

…BlueCollarPerspective proudly joins Dr. Carson in that corner.

Ben Carson’s right – Islam & sharia law violate our Constitutional foundation

Ben Carson says a Muslim should not be president, because of the basic tenets of Sharia law…which would violate our Constitution and its foundation principles.

Think of the subservient role women are forced to play in countries like Saudi Arabia and Iran…does anyone believe our U.S. Constitution condones honor-killings?

Think of the fact Islam dictates it must transcend government…has anyone heard about ‘separation of church and state’? Under Islam, ‘mosque’ comes first.

For all the political correctness playing out now, Dr. Carson has a point.

All the women in America who want to continue as equal citizens should agree.
