Take this president…PLEASE…

Media water-carriers for Obama are raving about his appearing on the Tonight show, and how tough the questions were that host Jay Leno was throwing at him.

Curiously (?), they didn’t focus on Obama’s responses…

But know this: had it been George W. Bush who mentioned that Georgia and South Carolina had somehow magically shifted, and now bordered the Gulf Coast…

…or that synchronized swimming and gymnastics were Winter Olympic sports…

…those same media lap-dogs would be howling at the answers!

What they won’t tell you about the employer-mandate delay…

Obama and Democrats are downplaying the suspension of the Obamacare employer mandate enforcement, by claiming it only affects a small number of employers.

According to the US Census, employers of 50+ make up only 3.7% of businesses.

So, yeah, it affects a ‘small number’ of employers…but…that’s not the relevant issue.

What they won’t tell you is, those 3.7% of businesses employ a huge 72% of the private workforce (80.5 million of the total 112 million Americans employed)!

Everyone talks about the ‘burden of reporting’ which Obama’s suspension will relieve on businesses, but there are other, bigger, issues at play here, and THEY KNOW IT!

As Capretta notes, the suspended employer mandate also suspends the ‘firewall’ in place to prevent employers from dumping employees into Obamacare exchanges.

Businesses average a cost of $4600-per-employee annually to provide healthcare. The fine for not providing healthcare for 50+ employers is $2k per employee.

An employer saves $2600 per employee to dump covered workers into Obamacare!

Do the math…

If you owned a business employing 50 people and could save $130k per year, and knew Obamacare would cover your employees, what would you do?

When Liberalism talks, money walks…

Want more evidence of the failure of Liberalism?

Close on the heels of news that the Boston Globe sold for less than 1/10th its value, comes the news that the Washington Post suffered a similar fate.

Both are left-of-center stalwarts of journalism for the Liberal agenda.

Both have seen their readership and advertising revenue plunge, proving that…

…when Liberalism talks…money walks…AWAY!

Jerusalem ain’t just a city in Ohio…

Whether you believe in America supporting Israel or not, one truth is undeniable…

If Palestinians put down their weapons, there would be peace…

…if Israelis put down their weapons…there would be genocide…

This fiasco over the US State Dept not recognizing Jerusalem as being part of Israel is patently ridiculous, for several reasons…the above certainty being one of them.

Second, the United States recognizes Israel as a nation, and as an ally. To refuse any acknowledgment that their most holy city is in Israel is an insult to that alliance.

Refusing that status by claiming it would harm a Middle East peace process is idiocy of the highest magnitude. It hasn’t stopped terror attacks…they’ve increased in ferocity.

NOT recognizing Jerusalem as being part of Israel actually rewards terrorists, and terrorism, and emboldens terror groups to step up their lethal acts against that nation.

Even if you don’t support Israel, facts must be acknowledged. It bears repeating…

If Palestinians put down their weapons, Peace would result…

If Israelis put down their weapons, Genocide would result.

Just be honest. Which do you prefer?

Whoops, there goes another Rubber-tree Liberal…

Fresh from licking her wounds over the BlueCollar rebuttal on the embassy closing issue, Connie A. tries her hand at suggesting GOP hypocrisy over Obamacare.

She screams (all caps) that both Democrats and Republicans feared the ‘brain drain’ if Capitol Hill dwellers fled the Obamacare avalanche threatening healthcare subsidies.

It would be advisable to remember NO Republicans voted for Obamacare.

In that context, of course they would resent being forced to take a financial hit.

So, for the rational members of the BlueCollar Perspective, when your Liberal buddies try to throw the ‘Republicans too’ argument at you (and you know they’ll try)…

…remind them who was FOR Obamacare…and who was AGAINST it.

We submit that the only brain-drain would be in the Republican ranks!

Just sayin’…

On why a ‘brain-drain’ in Congress is impossible…

Obama selectively suspends his signature law (illegally) once again…exempting Democrat Congressional politicians and their highly paid aides from Obamacare.

Not because of coverage…but because of cost.

(Proving that old adage…How do you hurt a Democrat? Hit ’em in their wallet!)

The way THEIR bill was written…by THEM…coverage subsidies would have been lost.

O-M-G…(making $174k per year) THEY would have to pay more for THEIR coverage.

And the concern was that many would leave Capitol Hill for the private sector, seeking the economic safety that would cushion them from enduring such financial hardship.

Creating a ‘brain drain’ on Capitol Hill. Yet…THAT would be impossible. Why?

First of all, let’s be real…they’re Democrats. But, that aside…A ‘brain drain’ implies there was a brain there to start with…and we’ve already pointed out that such ‘brains’ were the cause – THEY crafted, hyped, and passed Obamacare…

…It’s THEIR Democrat bill……THEY forced it on Americans…and – sweet irony – it’s now shooting THEM… in THEIR wallets…

…THAT’S what you call self-inflicted wounds! So now, Obama is forced to selectively distribute ‘exemption flak-jackets’, to protect the idiots from themselves.

Really folks, who’s concerned about losing such ‘brains’?

Departure of idiots who create pain like this should be a welcome…pain drain.

Call your Senators and let them know how you feel about this latest Obama exemption.

Detroit reveals Obamacare as just another union bailout…

Reflex slap at the previous ‘defund Obamacare’ blog from a reader.

Please, get real…lobbyists write the legislation, not Congressmen. And the biggest lobby for Democrats are unions, painfully aware of huge unfunded healthcare liabilities.

Make no mistake…union lobbyists eyeing looming financial disaster built an ‘escape hatch’ into Obamacare. The GOP warned about this; mainstream media downplayed it.

Obamacare’s just another union ‘bailout’, and that descriptive carries strong negatives.

ONE MORE REASON for the GOP to defund it now…because…

…if not now…WHEN?

After Stockton, San Bernadino, and Chicago shove their union retirees into the plan?
