“How Small State Democrats are Selling Out Their States to California”

The eminent Daniel Greenfield explains in detail what we posted days ago: small states relinquishing electoral votes to the popular vote become captive to California (and NY).

In a nutshell, “The electoral college was meant to protect the political power of even the smallest states. But Democrats in some of those states are eager to abandon local power for national control. The National Popular Vote Interstate Compact nationalizes local votes in a trick of political socialism.” (Aahh, why campaign in Vermont, anyway?)

The problem? “The compact puts (small states) in a grim place…Their only political assets were their electoral college votes. And they chose to give those assets away to New York and California in the hopes of rigging a future presidential election.”

The result? “The National Popular Vote Interstate Compact formalizes the centralization of power in the few wealthy areas of a few powerful states at the expense of the multitude of smaller states of the country. It overturns the balance of power keeping a handful of powerful states from controlling the country.” 

(But, hey, what’s a little ‘balance of power’ loss between states, right?)

‘Eager to abandon local power for national control’…yet, not aware those willing to give up vote liberty – for political security – deserve neither such liberty or security.

Time will tell.

“Will Democrats finally admit the Obama DOJ and FBI lied to the FISA court?”

(Hint: Key word in that question is ‘Democrats’. Need we say more?)

Well, yeah…there’s always gonna be some claiming more needs to be said.

Okay…

There are three key elements necessary when documents are presented to support FISA surveillance warrants to spy on American citizens. As John Solomon noted “First, the FBI must present evidence to FISA judges that it has verified and that (it) comes from intelligence sources deemed reliable. Second, it must disclose any information that calls into question the credibility of its sources. Finally, it must disclose any evidence suggesting the innocence of its investigative targets.”

To this day, not one iota of proof substantiates the ‘dirt-dossier’ evidence given the FISA courts – it has not been verified, the author’s sources have not been identified (which means it’s unreliable, and the credibility of its sources are unknown), and exculpatory evidence suggesting the innocence of its investigative targets was not revealed.

But that didn’t stop the DOJ and FBI from their goal: to spy on Trump and his aides.

Now, go back to the first question in this post.

Question asked, question answered?

Maybe the real question should be – can Democrats be honest?

We’ll take this a little further than a desire to feel ‘comfortable’…many so inclined to not ‘sleep with the enemy’ do so because they’re unable to square political views honestly.

From unsecure open borders to infanticide, one political Party puts Americans, born and yet unborn, at risk. What part of infanticide is acceptable to an honest adult?

Honesty requires an open exchange of ideas to justify a position on issues. One Party has now come out as open to killing newborn babies…on the altar of Abortion. In what universe could any decent person argue this as a ‘good idea’?

As for open border advocates, how can they possibly argue for a policy that every drug cartel, sex trafficker, and terrorist group agrees with…to make their goal achievable?

This study isn’t about comfort zones…it’s about political positions gone crazy.

Party differences used to be about Big-vs-Small government, entitlements as opposed to short-term safety nets, and the need for high taxes compared to low-tax benefits.

Not anymore. It’s now devolved to the lowest elements of human nature.

It’s about Logic and Reason…those who have it, those who don’t…

…and how they’re able to sleep with the differences.

The Left and never-Trump’ers, ever buttressed by FakeNews, are aghast…aghast…at the President’s attacks against one of his saboteurs, a dead now-lionized John McCain.

Funny…the Left and their media heavies, to this day, have no problem sliming Reagan.

The difference?

John McCain WAS a saboteur of Donald Trump during his campaign, and of now-President Trump after, ensuring wide dissemination of the unfounded slime-dossier.

(Ronald Reagan, on the other hand, is routinely slimed with LIES.)

So, as news comes out about exactly how involved McCain was in the ‘hoax-that-will-never-die Russia collusion’ meme, the President – as its target – has a right to speak.

So what if McCain’s dead? The result of his activities aren’t – and lest any forget, those activities involved machinations intended to delegitimize an American election…

…and a sitting American President…while McCain was in a position of public trust.

Some would call that TREASON.

Anyone who doesn’t like it can complain all they want – facts don’t lie.

RealClearInvestigations journalist Paul Sperry writes “Key Democratic operatives and private investigators who tried to derail Donald Trump’s campaign by claiming he was a tool of the Kremlin have rebooted their operation since his election with a multimillion-dollar stealth campaign to persuade major media outlets and lawmakers that the president should be impeached.” (bold, underline emphasis added)

Buying elections, buying impeachments…

…it’s a never-ending story when Democrats are involved.

Our electoral college post claiming states give up their vote to California may drive the liberal crowd bat-crap crazy, but anyone willing to look at facts must admit the obvious.

Sure, Hillary won the popular vote by some 2.9 million votes, but California went Hillary by 4.2 million votes, which means, absent California, Trump won the popular vote.

PERIOD.

FULL.STOP.

Relying on an electoral system effectively prevents a few populous regions from taking charge of the election process, spreading that decision across all 50 states instead.

It’s like baseball, where the World Series is decided by the number of games won, not the number of total runs scored…otherwise, a team scoring a huge amount of runs in one winning game could become champions even if they lost 6 games of 7 played.

Those states willing to direct electoral votes to a total national popular vote subjugates its vote to California, with the 2016 national election results demonstrating that fact.

Facts are a hard thing to deny.

FakeNews DELIBERATELY leaves out that President Trump noted very specifically within that SAME press conference “and I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists, because they should be condemned totally”…exposing their deceit.

Here’s the excerpt of the relevant part of his presser (emphasis added): “You had some very bad people in that group, but you also had people that were very fine people, on both sides. … You had people in that group that were there to protest the taking down of, to them, a very, very important statute and the renaming of a park from Robert E. Lee to another name. George Washington was a slave owner. Was George Washington a slave owner? So will George Washington now lose his status? Are we going to take down statutes to George Washington? How about Thomas Jefferson? What do you think about Thomas Jefferson? Do you like him? Are we going to take down his statute? Because he was a major slave-owner. Now are we going to take down his statute? You’re changing history. You’re changing culture, and you had people – and I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists, because they should be condemned totally – but you had many people in that group other than neo-Nazis and white nationalists, okay? And the press has treated them absolutely unfairly.”

Make no mistake – The real racists are those who corrupt truth to spread racism lies.

With daily confirmation of its ‘HOAX’ status, the collusion probe conducted by Robert Mueller can only be legitimized one way…if it incriminates the hoax perpetrators:

• The creators of the unsubstantiated dirt-dossier as a basis for ‘collusion’;
• the distributors of that unsubstantiated dirt-dossier;
• the political Party that funded the unsubstantiated dirt-dossier;
• the FISA fraudsters who used the unsubstantiated dirt-dossier for warrants;
• the leadership (including Obama) who allowed this circus to unfold.

Any other result will just verify what Pres Trump calls this fiasco…a WITCH-HUNT.
