Cool-Hand Rush…’what we’ve got heah is, failure to communicate’

Remember that definitive scene from ‘Cool Hand Luke’? Luke (Paul Newman), mocks his prison warden (Strother Martin), who knocks Luke sprawling into the dirt.

Thursday, Rush Limbaugh discussed a recent poll of youth voters, who described themselves as extremely critical of big government, and all that entails…but…

…plan to vote Democrat anyway.

A large youth majority articulated concerns identical to Republican concerns:

  • that government is inefficient, wasteful (66%);
  • that private Social Security accounts are preferred (73%);
  • that government regulators favor special interests (63%);
  • that government agencies abuse their power (58%);
  • that cutting gov’t spending would help the economy (64%);
  • that cutting taxes would help the economy (59%).

And, yes…despite the fact they know big government doesn’t work, and they are ideologically opposed to what Democrats stand for, 53% of millennials indicate they plan to vote Democrat in the November elections…and Rush says he knows why.

He says “…if the Republican Party would stand for those things — loudly, consistently, and proudly — then the Millennials would have an alternative.”

But Republicans don’t communicate that stand…so youth voters smack ’em down…

…just like the Captain did to Cool Hand Luke.

Will their deadly game of vote-trolling be rewarded again, in November?

Plain, unvarnished truth…this fabricated border disaster is on Democrat heads. They’re stirring up Hispanic-American emotions, to generate Democrat voter turnout.

The price is deadly, for the Central American kids being used as pawns.

Politicians who create policy that lures illegals to their death are at fault. And the bodies are beginning to pile up…sadly, more and more of them are bodies of children.

Secure borders and strict deportation policy deter illegal-entry attempts. Conversely, lax security and failure to enforce deportations will only encourage more attempts.

And when laws are added to further invite more attempts, border chaos is inevitable.

Those rushing to justify such policies by citing widespread violence in Central America conveniently ignore the institution in place to help such countries…the United Nations.

It begs the question: the UN is a Liberal’s favorite solution for the ills of the world…so why isn’t the United Nations a solution for Central America?

Ironically, Liberals who wail ‘leave it to the UN, America can’t be the world’s police’, seem more than happy to let America be… the world’s child-care center.

Besides…how does allowing illegal entry sanctuary solve Central American violence?

The dirty little secret is Democrats don’t want a solution to the problem…unless that solution includes immediate and full amnesty which must include (drumroll, please…)

…citizenship. (Translation – VOTES… for the Democrat Party.)

But, most Americans are against amnesty for illegal aliens, so Democrats are content to play their increasingly deadly game of luring illegals, tugging emotional heart strings…

…in hopes of vote-trolling the Hispanic American electorate, come November.

(It worked for them in 2012; Obama enacted DACA just months before the election.)

Those who deny election-timing of current chaos ignore Obama’s DHS bid request for ‘unaccompanied child escort services’, posted this last January, estimating 65,000 kids.

(And remember, the kids had to get through a usually tightly-secured Mexican southern border…then over 1800 miles of Mexican roads before hitting our border. Who coordinated with coyote smugglers to provide ‘escort services’, south of our border?)

Is the Hispanic voter that blind to the deadly consequences of this Democrat game?

Senators Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz should lead an effort to expose this despicable act of vote-trolling, which has yielded such deadly results for so many lured by promises.

Either open the eyes of an Hispanic electorate that’s rewarded such loathsome politics in the past, or suffer the consequences when they reward it once more in November…

…because it sure looks like Democrats are happy to continue using live bait.

Ask not for whom the gridlock tolls…

A popularly-elected Congress has represented a true voter mandate for over 220 years.

So the next time Obama (or your Liberal buddy) complains that Republicans in Congress won’t do things his way, ask them who voted Republicans into office.

Obama may have a mandate given him by playing ‘electoral’ games…

…but every Congressman is directly elected by voters of their state.

We guarantee, if asked…

…few-to-none of the electorate that voted ‘Republican’ did so thinking ‘cooperate with Obama’ was high on their radar…quite the opposite was most probably the case.

They were voted into office to represent a ‘Republican’ agenda…the only one in political office who fakes any surprise by that appears to be Obama.

Next time you see a low opinion poll for Obama, consider this…

Obama’s approval numbers have tanked, despite all the media efforts.

During the run-up to the ’04 presidential election, long-time journalist and political guru Evan Thomas noted that help from mainstream media was worth 15 points in polling.

Now Obama’s ranked ‘worst president’ in our modern era…despite that so-called 15-point support advantage supplied him by his fawning, adoring media coverage?

So, look at Obama’s tanking numbers, and subtract the 15 points his flunkies provide.

If it weren’t for them, he’d be down in the teens, poll-wise.

And that’s ‘Worst.President.EVER‘ territory.

Since when is unfairly burdening taxpayers not considered ‘sufficient injury’?

The GOP-led House is planning to sue Obama for his lawless acts.

They’re afraid of being demagogued by Obama’s media sycophants if they impeach or use their power of funding control to correct the lawlessness, so fall back on litigation

But, even if a court did rule against Obama, his Justice Dept minions are responsible for enforcing the judgment: thus, Obama has to execute enforcement against…Obama.

Fat chance. House lawyers pushing this ‘sue’ effort are deluding themselves.

Suing is not an answer. Boehner and House GOP leadership want a political solution, when there are already Constitutional solutions in place (impeachment, or defunding).

Then there’s the argument of ‘legal standing’, which establishes injury has occurred as a result of Obama’s illegal actions. House lawyers say usurping its legislative powers is an ‘injury’, but courts have ruled political power deprivation doesn’t constitute standing.

House lawyers plan to ‘demonstrate the lack of private plaintiff’. But every taxpayer is overburdened unfairly when Obama illegally refuses deporting illegal immigrants…

…and every taxpayer is overburdened when illegal O’care subsidies are handed out.

And the U.S. Military in Afghanistan is targeted by senior commanders he released from Guantanamo…not to mention America’s national security, when terror visits our shores.

House lawyers are wrong on another point also…a political remedy is Constitutionally available – the House GOP simply fears political repercussions if they enact them.

Finally, nobody’s considered the fact that if the Congress can sue an Executive branch for not fulfilling its role to ensure ‘Laws be faithfully executed’, then, conversely…

the Executive can (just as frivolously) sue the Congress…

…for its failure ‘to make all Laws which shall be necessary and proper’.

The House GOP should stop playing games, and exercise its Constitutional rights.
