Looks like Alaska didn’t get the Pope’s memo on global warming…

Alaska reports a record early snowfall and record cold temperatures Friday.

Obviously, the Pope’s message on global warming is being totally ignored.

But, no worries, by the time Obama’s team ‘tweaks’ the data, all will be fine.

(Or, billionaire Tom Steyer can send a couple of bucks to the Vatican.)

Either way – nothing to doubt here…move along.

Truth isn’t necessary, their tactics never change

Reader Franklin M. takes exception to our raking Dr. Krauthammer over the coals, for his unfounded and completely unnecessary verbal assault of Ben Carson.

His point being that what Carson said put Republicans in the Democrat crosshairs.

But no amount of mealy-mouthing by GOP candidates will change that dynamic. A kinder, gentler Republican Party will do nothing to nullify Democrat aggression.

This has been demonstrated time and again. What’s left, then, is open honesty.

Islam demands their religion must transcend government…unconstitutional.

Islam relegates women and children to subservient status…unconstitutional.

Islam forbids freedom of speech against its religion…unconstitutional.

And the list goes on.

The foundation our Constitution rests on places a government of the people first. A religion that places itself ABOVE government does not honor the Rule of Law.

‘Freedom of religion’ does not mean freedom to destroy the Constitution. It means those religions…that will work within the Constitution…are protected.

Ben Carson spoke the truth. Islam is inconsistent with our principles and values, and violates fundamental concepts of our U.S. Constitution.

But Democrats don’t want the truth – they just want to target Republicans…

…REGARDLESS of truth.

‘Hammer’ing Ben Carson…et tu, Republicans?

As the Left savages Dr. Ben Carson using an out-of-context remark about religion in the White House, Republicans unhelpfully pile on, to their everlasting shame.

Sunday, with less than two minutes left in a Meet-the-Press interview, Dr. Carson was asked (7:55 mark)should a president’s faith matter to voters?”

Dr. Carson responded by saying “it depends on what that faith is. If it’s inconsistent with the values and principles of America, then of course it should matter. But if it fits within the realm of America…and consistent with the Constitution, no problem.”

Then asked if he believed Islam was consistent with our Constitution, Dr. Carson replied no, and he wouldn’t advocate for a Muslim to be in charge of the Nation.

Clearly, he meant if it was ‘inconsistent with American values and principles.’

Cue the (predictable) feigned outrage from the Left.

But, sadly, Republican disavowals followed close behind, completely ignoring the context Dr. Carson had stated from the first seconds in that closing question…

…that views be consistent with American principles and our Constitution.

He even added that a man’s actions and history be considered as well when voting them into office, to ensure our values and principles applied, which, of course…

…doesn’t count, to those maniacally slavering to take down a Republican.

Even the inestimable Dr. Krauthammer joins in, ignoring Ben Carson’s opening (and) qualifying remark that faith should be consistent with American values.

The ‘Hammer’ instead lectures us on how our Constitution fits into our daily lives, in the meantime (evidently) under the impression even if it means electing someone…

whose faith will destroy it.

BCP has long been a Charles Krauthammer fan, but his article begs the question… does he honestly believe that Islam teaches ‘government BEFORE Islam’?

Our Constitution supports freedom of religion…Islam denies such freedom. Are we, then, to believe the Constitution is a suicide pact, willing to crumble before Islam?

The Left will always look for ways to demean and mis-characterize the GOP…

…but, for today, for Dr. Ben Carson?

Assassin, thy name is Krauthammer.

Unlawful extremes…

Refuting global warmism isn’t unlawful…but silencing by incarceration is.

Despite the fact climate-change has been demonstrably proven wrong, some in the global-warming hysteria camp are calling for locking away all those who disagree.

What’s next…jailing atheists?

Or maybe we should start with those who demand freedom-of-speech be silenced.

We’ve protected Europe, So. Korea, & Japan for 70 years

Our national debt is $18.15 trillion.

Since 1945, we’ve shouldered the task of defending Europe, So. Korea and Japan.

Isn’t it time we collected on that?

Listening to the Pope tell us everything that’s wrong with America, it occurred to us that there’s more to foreign aid; our military costs kept the world a safer place too…

…for all those nations clamoring over ‘reparations’.

True Republicans should put the ‘debate’ back into debates

In drag-racing, how fast you go is directly related to how much you can spend. It’s not about being the best driver. Money buys top engine performance.

Unfortunately, the same holds true in politics. It’s not about who can be the best leader, or who has the greatest ideas. It’s about who gets the most votes.

And money, spent on day-by-day campaign advertising, makes the difference.

Modern-day politics continues to be more about money than ideas. Problem is, the leader you get crossing the Finish Line may be another Barack or Jimmy.

And proven leaders like Rick Perry and Scott Walker run out of cash, and drop out.

We can’t control this after a party candidate has been chosen, but we can before.

Of the 17-some candidates that were still in the ring as of Aug. 01, the GOP should be intent on picking the most qualified and creative… not the best money gatherer.

BCP challenges Republican leadership to set up a digital venue for its primary.

Give each candidate a 5-minute video opportunity to answer 6 specific questions on foreign and domestic issues, and post those videos on-line for voters to review.

Give each candidate a 3-minute rebuttal video-op for any five opponent videos they feel most compelled to challenge, and post those rebuttals on-line for viewing.

Finally, give each candidate a 5-minute rebuttal video-op against the 2 candidates most effectively challenging their views, and post that final rebuttal grouping on-line.

Today’s leaders NEVER go before an audience without detailed preparation…

…why demand any less from those who are competing to become that leader?

Everyone talks about taking money out of politics…here’s the chance, Republicans.

The question Rush Limbaugh didn’t answer…

On today’s show, a caller, disturbed and saddened over the sudden departure of Scott Walker from the GOP 2016 field, asked Rush a question he didn’t answer

…does he think Trump “…could possibly be helping Hillary?”

“…could he (Trump) be working for her”?

Read the transcript for yourself…his response was to ask her who she liked in the Republican field that was remaining, after Walker’s departure.

Rush didn’t come close to answering her question.

And as Rush always says…’sometimes what isn’t said can be just as informative’.
