BlueCollar takes on Brit Hume over the Virginia ‘amnesty’ issue

No TV journalist gets more respect from BlueCollar than Brit Hume.

But, rarely, even Brit needs correction…and on the issue of his irritation over the Cantor primary loss in Virginia, it would appear that this is one of those rare occasions.

As Rush reports in his morning program, Brit Hume voiced deep frustration bordering on anger for those voters in Virginia who improperly defined Cantor with ‘amnesty’.

Mr. Cantor has said there was need for immigration reform. Voters heard ‘amnesty’.

To Mr. Hume, words have meaning, amnesty means ‘unconditional pardon’, and he is furious that anyone would link Eric Cantor as leaning toward that inclination.

The problem is, every Democrat leader – from Pelosi to Reid to Obama – does lean to that inclination…they just won’t admit it…but their actions prove it, time and again.

Refusing to enforce border control and deportation law tells us all we need to know.

THAT’S why so many conservatives are disgusted with Republicans who talk reform, when they know the other political party has no intention of ‘serious’ reform.

Rush says it best…with this Democrat Party, ‘immigration reform’ is simply code…

…code for amnesty, better known as a ‘Democrat voter registration drive’.

And as long as Democrats are in power, that’s all it will ever be.

Mr. Hume’s frustration should be directed at Cantor, who failed to heed that point.

Or, even more appropriately, toward the triumvirate soiling the English language.

Remember Brit, in today’s Democrat-controlled America, WordsDon’tMatter.

Msg to Democrats: Ignoring al-Qaeda does not defeat al-Qaeda

“Bin Laden is dead, and al-Qaeda is decimated.”

Before his re-election in 2012, it was a favorite slogan of the Deceiver-in-Chief.

So, regarding those forces now heading toward Baghdad, we can only assume his new slogan to be something along the lines of ‘ignore those Islamists behind the curtain’?

Or maybe he just doesn’t know the meaning of ‘decimated’?

Cantor loss in Virginia primary a vote of No Confidence – in Cantor, and in Immigration Reform

House Majority Leader Eric Cantor’s primary loss to Dave Brat indicates a ‘No Confidence’ vote among his constituents in Virginia congressional district 7.

Those who say his loss was due to Democrat meddling should read this. It proves, even if true, Cantor would’ve won if he earned the same votes as his 2012 primary.

(2014 Total votes cast: 65,000. For Cantor: 29,000. Cantor got 37,000 in 2012.)

Some argue he can still press immigration reform before leaving office in January, but 8,000 fewer votes (for him) than in 2012 is a compelling rebuttal to such conjecture.

Any who claim that exit polling showed immigration reform is wanted should be aware that the polling was predicated on secure borderswhich Obama won’t enforce.

Serious questions will arise if he acts contrary to his district’s wishes, going forward.

Why can’t the GOP sell their party platform to Hispanics?

Why is it so hard for the GOP to get Hispanic support?

You would think some Republican would have enough eloquence to explain to the Hispanic community that illegal immigration hurts them disproportionately.

Hispanics are as concerned about crime rate, jobs, and health issues as everyone else.

And if illegal immigration continues unchecked, where do they think ‘MS-13’-type gangs, or seriously ill (and contagious) Hispanic illegal populations will hide…

…in Bel Air?

Do Hispanics think illegal entrants will jeopardize downtown LA’s financial sector jobs?

Hispanics believe in a government security net. How hard is it to explain that ‘security net’ costs would be less threatened, if businesses stayed in states like California?

How hard is it to explain that less regulation, less taxes, and more drilling makes energy costs more affordable? And, makes a gallon of gas at the pump half what it is now?

Conversely, why can’t it be explained that Democrat energy policy costs everyone more at the pump, more at the table, and more in the evening in front of the television?

Democrat immigration policy costs them more in law enforcement, takes from the kids’ education, steals jobs, overburdens the social welfare system, and jeopardizes their health because unscreened illegal immigrants may bring in dangerous diseases.

How hard can it be to put these issues before the Hispanic voter articulately?

Anyone?

Kudlow forgets this president refuses to enforce immigration laws

Larry Kudlow had a few good things to say about the Brat-Cantor primary upset, but then swerved Left when he took exception to Dave Brat’s immigration stance.

Mr. Kudlow thinks Brat needs to know immigration reform is pro-growth and pro-GOP.

And it would be…

…if there were a president in the White House that made sure laws were followed.

Borders must be secured. Laws must be obeyed.

Until then, Mr. Kudlow, ‘sensible’ immigration reform is just a pipedream.

Rush Limbaugh must know impeached Senators can’t sit in judgment of themselves

During his segment on the historic Dave Brat win over Eric Cantor, Rush made the same mistake many in the GOP have made discussing an impeachment of Obama.

He says it’s a Democrat Senate, so impeachment isn’t possible. He went on to say there’s no way to challenge Senators, to get rid of them during an impeachment.

We don’t make this claim lightly…Rush is wrong.

37 Democrat Senators still in that body pushed Obamacare onto the American people and many voiced the same lie Obama did: “If you like your health plan you can keep it.”

They were at least co-conspirators…and at worst, perpetrators of the fraud.

Senators can be impeached – they are not privileged from arrest if a felony has been committed, and fraud (‘if you like your health plan you can keep your plan’) is a felony.

(And millions of Americans – who lost or will lose their health plan – are the proof.)

They knew it was a lie and, as a group, along with Obama, can be impeached for fraud (Art. 1, sect. 6), or for ‘high Crimes and Misdemeanors’ (Art. 2, sect. 4).

Taking those 37 Democrat Senate co-conspirators out of the equation, swings the power of the Senate to the Republicans…

…because an impeached Senator cannot sit in judgment on himself.

If there’s a hole in this logic, it’s funny no one has pointed it out.

It doesn’t matter anyway…congressional Republicans don’t have the stomach for it.

(Updated) Ever sent your 10-year old on an unsupervised 1800+ mile cross-nations hike?

That’s what Obama and Democrat friends want you to believe about this illegal influx of immigrant children magically appearing at Texas border control checkpoints.

News sources indicate the huge groups of children are mainly from Central America.

That’s 1800* miles to the American border, straight through Mexico…a country that has a very stringent border philosophy with Central America…defined as ‘stop or we shoot’.

Who believes those kids did it on their own?

Former border agents (and a few governors) claim this was Obama-orchestrated.

Those skeptical of this claim should remember another stupid idea hatched by this administration…a certain gun-running program to give drug cartels assault weapons.

Politicians who arm murderous Mexican drug cartels to push a gun-control agenda are certainly capable of using Central American kids to push an amnesty agenda.

(And, dare we suggest, take the focus off Obamacare failures and the VA scandal?)

Central American and Mexican authorities had to have coordinated this large an effort.

They sure as hell didn’t get across 1800* miles of Mexico by hitch-hiking.

(*UPDATED: by road, across Mexico’s interior is appx 1800 miles)

VA Lawbreakers Can Relax…high level involvement will be hidden, unless a BlueCollar solution is followed

The VA scandal investigation will be led by the (Fast-&-Furious) Phoenix FBI office?

Really?

News the VA scandal is being looked into by the FBI may cheer some veterans…

…but they would be advised to see how far its Fast-&-Furious investigation went.

During that investigation, it was discovered Eric Holder lied to Congress, and contempt charges were filed when he failed to provide Congress with subpoenaed records.

The same Dept of Justice that controls the FBI also controls the ATF (Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms)…which fabricated the Fast-&-Furious plan the FBI then proceeded to shield.

(Anyone know where that Fast-&-Furious FBI probe led? NOWHERE!)

An independent investigation of the VA malfeasance is warranted…if Holder’s Justice Department handles it, high level figures (including Obama) will be shielded…

…again.

BlueCollar suggestion: VA medical services are nationwide; each state should provide investigative manpower for the probe, and each state team headed by…

…the highest ranking able-bodied veteran NCO being treated by their VA.

No political appointee can be trusted…Eric Holder has proven that!

If you can’t trust a Marine Corps veteran Sergeant Major…who can you trust?

…and Little Jimmy’s weak effort can’t defend Harry Reid

Little Jimmy emailed, defending Harry Reid, pointing out that the Koch brothers’ refinery that made $2 billion more last year was based on ‘revenue’ increases…not profits.

We can only assume it was Harry’s ‘little Jimmy’, based on such a weak defense.

When 1 cost goes down and all else stays the same, profit increases by that amount.

Sorry, Jimmy…don’t they teach basic economics where you live?
