Washington DC was never meant to be the solution to every American problem.

Philip Klein has written a thoughtful article on this in the Washington Examiner.

The only ones who think ‘DC is broken’, are those who think our U.S. Constitution is nothing more than a preamble to their extended version Big Government manifesto.

They don’t see the individual nature of the states within our United States of America.

The Constitution was written to defend us against that thinking…against that leviathan.

Created in 1787 as the supreme Law of this new nation, it set the framework from which blossomed the greatest economic engine the world has ever seen…

…and 204 years later, with the USSR collapse, made America the world’s superpower.

Why America? How is it we got to where others only dream of going?

Many nations have more years of history; they all have natural resources; they all have great thinkers; they all have storied colleges…what sets us apart from them?

Our United STATES Constitution.

Some of them say it needs to ‘evolve’…but look around you, at all we have…

…at all we are…at all we’ve accomplished…

…then ask…

…WHY?

The only people who try to ‘fix’ what isn’t broken…are meddling politicians…

…and the cronies behind them…who seek power over you.

The United States Constitution serves as your body armor…don’t give it up.

Noted economists are wondering why we’re experiencing a ‘business start-up’ decline.

Beginning in the late ’70’s, and through 2011, start-ups have decreased by 50%. And that is a lot of jobs, when you consider virtually all new job creation is from start-ups.

It’s a serious threat to our economic well-being.

And while those economists busily speculate on various reasons, BCP can’t help but wonder why they don’t run a comparison graph of that decline against the explosion of regulations that hit after the EPA and OSHA agencies were started in the early ’70’s.

Up until 1970, new government regulations were fairly ‘moderate’, adding approximately 20,000 pages of regulations every year…but once the EPA and OSHA started…

…by 1974, the federal government was adding 60,000 PAGES A YEAR…

…and by 2011, that number was up to slightly over 80,000 PAGES A YEAR.

Yeah…we can’t imagine what has caused the dramatic decline in business start-ups.

Averaging 60,000 pages added every year for 40 years since 1974, that’s 2.4 million new pages of regulations…added to what was arguably over 650,000 pages by 1974.

We don’t profess to be an economics expert…

…but you don’t have to be an economist…to know what happens when you stuff that much paper down a new business’s throat.

Just sayin’…

‘Good Gun, Bad Gun’ chattering fools strike again.

A federal judge just ruled that AR15-style rifles are ‘dangerous and unusual’ arms.

Thus, in Maryland, they don’t fall within a citizen’s 2nd Amendment protection right. So, in effect, this federal judge has ruled only the criminals should have them.

And that’s a problem when you consider, according to Investor’s Business Daily…

…AR15’s make up 50%-60% of all rifle sales in the U.S.

The only thing ‘dangerous and unusual’ is that federal judge’s logic process.

After all, he needs his base to turn out in November.

When America’s President trashes the law, it gives license to others as well.

When America’s President loots the system, ditto.

At least, that’s what the looters in St. Louis Missouri suburbs are acting out.

The Washington Free Beacon has a story today, that breaks your heart, if you care about Veterans and the mistreatment that they’ve been put through for years.

The VA spent $1.5 billion of stimulus funds on everything except needed direct care, (unless “making the VA medical centers green energy sustainable” counts somehow).

$16 billion more was just injected into the VA…

…what chance is there that money will be spent where it’s needed?

Harry Reid’s incessant attacks against the Koch brothers are just to hide the Big $$.

According to a Las Vegas Review-Journal article, Democrat donors leave them in the dust. David Koch and his wife rank 90th, far behind the Democrats’ Steyer & Co.

The other (Charles Koch) didn’t make it into the top100…but Liberal Tom Steyer did…

…he ranks No. 1.

When it comes to buying the White House and Congress…

…Democrats are re-defining the Party Of The Rich.

More details emerge on where the Liberal Tom Steyer gets his motivation…

…the millions he’s donated to Democrats has paid off in a billion dollar way.

In 1964, Malcolm X railed against black ‘chumps’ who kept voting Democrat.

He wondered why blacks chose to be ‘traitors to their race’, rather than recognize the obvious…Democrats failed them time after time, and took their vote for granted.

Fast forward 50 years…Democrat politicians pay black staffers 30% less than whites…

…and Hispanic staffers are paid 32% less than whites. Chumps still, it seems.

Minorities have disproportionately high numbers in low income households.

Terrible energy policies by Democrats hit low income groups hardest in the wallet, daily  at the gas pump and supermarket, and monthly in their electricity bill…

…yet Democrat politicians rake in the minority vote, every election cycle.

*Great cities (Detroit, New Orleans) and states (Michigan, Illinois, Louisiana, California), under Democrat leadership (some for decades), have gone to rot financially.

Over the last 65 years, Democrats have controlled Congress 75% of that time, and yet, for minority segments, their lot in life has – if anything – worsened measurably.

Once a chump, always a chump?

A left-wing journalist runs an IBD article about Americans losing their optimism.

And, once again, a Liberal gets it ass-backwards.

Americans haven’t lost their optimism…they’ve just lost faith in their government.

Incredibly, the author edges toward the truth (slow economic recovery), before sinking into the Liberal ideological swamp that brings lost-government-faith to the fore…

…by then claiming the economy’s improving (?*)…

…so it must be us stupid Americans, whose perceptions fail to comply.

Hastening to whitewash Obama’s failures, he notes “the problem is not of his making but the result of two decades of scorched-earth  politics”…but reality can’t be hidden.

Big government doesn’t have to dampen optimism, but the machinations of men within that leviathan ease or aggravate the situation…and that’s where Obama has failed.

Obama didn’t make the problem…but his actions have aggravated it tremendously.

He’s taken ‘a shining city on a hill’…

…and turned it into a class-warfare fever swamp in a valley.

It could have been different, but Obama chose to make it so.

Liberals won’t see this…but you can’t awaken those who pretend they’re sleeping.
