With the ever-expanding credibility problem in the FBI and Justice Department, it’s time, as the editorial board at National Review Online opines…

We know just the man for the job – Andrew McCarthy.
Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein has shown either an inability or unwillingness to conduct proper oversight where special counsel Mueller is concerned, and regardless of which descriptive fits that lack, deserves to be fired…immediately.
For four months after FBI agent Strzok was demoted, he refused to tell Congress why.
Strzok signed off on the DNC-Hillary-Obama funded FusionGPS sleaze document in July, and then, in August, he was ‘handpicked’ to supervise the FBI investigation into Russia collusion based on the fabricated, unsubstantiated ‘dossier’ he signed off.
There are just too many examples of Rosenstein’s oversight negligence.
But, hey…he’s a political appointee, who serves at the whim of the President.
Mr. President, fire Rosenstein…and let AG Sessions appoint an honest overseer.
The FBI investigator Peter Strzok, who texted ‘Hillary should win 100,000,000 to 0’ was responsible for changing report verbiage so Hillary wouldn’t be prosecuted…
…and no one sees this as a problem?
Everyone focuses on a false Trump-Russia ‘collusion’ meme, but real collusion was going on between the Obama administration, weaponized intel agencies, and the FBI…
…all working to drag the Queen-of-Lies over the election Finish Line.
IBD’s editorial notes how important this guy was to the Hillary email probe: “Strzok had motive, means and opportunity to sabotage that investigation.” But that’s not all…
“…Strzok and Page were also deeply involved in the FBI’s investigation into alleged Russia meddling, which started almost immediately after Comey let Clinton off the hook, and was sparked by a dodgy Clinton-financed “dossier.” In fact, according to CNN, Strzok signed the document making the Russia probe official.” (emphasis added)
So those passing off Strzok’s texts as merely strong political support for a Democrat candidate can’t ignore the facts as laid out above, and Mueller stonewalled Congress on making those texts available until he was forced into relinquishing them.
Rosenstein’s responsible for allowing this travesty to continue, and should be fired.

Key, though, is to restrain spending along with tax-cuts…not something Big Government Democrats (and some Republicans) want to hear…or do.
DoJ official Bruce Ohr was demoted and reassigned recently, when it was learned he’d met with the sleaze-document author before the 2016 election, and FusionGPS (the funders of the document) after the election, and concealed the meetings. Also revealed – Ohr’s wife worked for FusionGPS during the 2016 campaign cycle.
Now we see why ‘DoJ officials’ have been refusing to hand over data to Congress…a slew of them are knee-deep in the FusionGPS-dossier-Democrat swamp hiding out.
Looks like it’s time for another investigation to rout these slimy snakes from office.
And…looks like the President’s lawyer feels the same way.

Last week we learned from Fox’s Rosen that a deputy Dept of Justice director had met with FusionGPS during and after the 2016 campaign during which time that outfit arranged to have a sleaze document opposition research (‘dossier’) done on Trump.
Now we learn that deputy director’s wife WORKED for FusionGPS during that time.
Think Obama and his Dept of Justice didn’t know what kind of ugliness was going on?

For the average middle-income earner, losing a federal tax credit for state income taxes paid won’t be felt, because other deductions are increased in the GOP tax-cut plan.
The real problem blue-state Democrat leaders from New York to California have with the Republican plan is that the WEALTHY lose their state-tax deductions, because the other deduction increases in the Republican plan favor the middle-class, not the rich.
So when you hear Nancy Pelosi, Jerry Brown, or Andrew Cuomo moan about the GOP plan, it’s because they fear wealthy residents of their high-tax states will move away, if they lose their precious state-income-tax deductions.
