Arguably, Obama stretched executive action powers thin during his 8-year reign.
And, despite incessant Left ranting that President Trump is similarly dictatorial, his speech last evening proves he believes in the Constitutional framework of government.
He didn’t threaten executive action. He didn’t threaten to declare a national emergency.
He called on Congress to DO THEIR JOB.
It’s a proven fact that physical barriers work – call it a wall, call it a fence, call it a barrier, it doesn’t matter how it’s described, physical barriers work. Any doubts, just ask Israel.
And the President’s right to point out that members of Congress themselves live behind such physical barriers…“They don’t build walls because they hate the people on the outside, but because they love the people on the inside.” (bold emphasis added)
How is it that American citizens don’t deserve similar protective measures?
