Why the White House story on border chaos NEVER made sense

A Washington Examiner op-ed makes the case that interviews with illegal immigrants destroy any attempts by the White House to deflect blame for the border chaos.

Top administration officials tried blaming horrible 3rd-world conditions for the influx.

Republicans had blamed Obama’s DACA ‘young age decree’ as motivating the young of those nations to make the journey, since it gave those youth a ‘welcome in’ sign.

The article notes illegals interviewed cited a belief they wouldn’t be turned away as reason enough to make the 1300 mile trek from Central America to the U.S., which puts the cause for this overwhelming human flow squarely back on administration policy.

But there was another indicator that did that, as this whole movement started…

…Mexico allowed them through their southern border!

As noted previously, Mexico has a pretty brutal Central America border policy, that can be very easily summed up in four words – STOP.OR.WE’LL.SHOOT!

Scathing articles have been written of Mexican hypocrisy that criticized America for not welcoming Mexican illegals, when its Central America policy brutalized illegal entrants.

What would convince Mexico to suddenly allow tens of thousands of illegals through their southern border…after decades of brutal, unflinching denial for entry?

It’s 1200+ miles from Mexico’s Central American border to their American border. Who in their right mind wouldn’t realize a backroom deal was made to allow that journey?

And, why NOW? That’s the easy part…

There’s a brutal November election reality heading the Democrat way. They will do anything to change an Obamacare-VA-IRS-NSA narrative, and save political hides.

And if that includes using illegal immigrant children to do it…so be it.

We don’t need interviews or ‘anecdotal reports’ to tell us what we already knew…

The only reform our immigration policy needs is for the White House to ENFORCE IT!
