Roll over veterans, the Senate wants to rub your belly…

The Senate  just passed another ‘we dropped the VA accountability ball for decades but NOW we’ll start doing our job’ bill…promising what’s been promised for decades.

The Republican weekly address covered basics, but it still boils down to gov’t care.

Live 40 miles from a VA clinic, to justify going to any clinic? Sounds like another job for a government worker, who will monitor the Google-mapping for compliance. Need a ‘timely’ appointment? Guess who decides the definition of ‘timely’? Yup, gov’t workers.

Laughably, then the Senator giving the weekly address says “Bureaucrats would no longer override veterans’ choices.” Like adding two more layers of government worker bureaucracy will suddenly, magically, make all the bad bureaucrats disappear.

Under this plan (as with the old plans), the closer an election, the more consideration vets will get…guess they better pray serious ailments time themselves accordingly.

This is legislation that “…will give veterans more health care freedom”…REALLY?

No amount of political promises will protect veterans from the ‘same-old, same-old’…

The only REAL fix is to allow all VA health care through free-market services.

Anything else is just empty promises – and you know how that feels, right?

Remember when you forgot to feed your dog for a couple of days? FINALLY you realize it, guiltily fill his bowl to overflowing…and get him to roll over so you can rub his belly.

And the dog wags its tail, licks your hand…and all is well.

Sort’a feels like that, doesn’t it?

Good dog…Sergeant…good dog.

Stay close, buddy…in a little while, we’ll play ‘fetch the vote’.
