Liberals ignore it, but our Constitution lays out LEGAL birthright citizenship guidelines

Victor J, a self-admitted Liberal, objects to linking ‘legally residing’ requirements to birthright citizenship…but that wouldn’t be a Trump action – it’s Constitutional already.

The 14th amendment clearly states “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.” (bold, underline emphasis added)

Illegal aliens are subject to the jurisdiction of the Nation from which they originate, and by definition, any children borne to those illegal aliens are subject to that Nation also.

A crime of illegal entry qualifies the U.S. jurisdictionally to process an alien accordingly, but does not give the USA power to remove all existing jurisdiction from other nations.

Besides, we know it’s a stretch for Liberals…but common sense and logic applies.

American Citizenship is a valuable possession.

No one in their right mind would try to claim that stolen property could be passed on by thieving parents as legal ownership to their newborn: how is this issue any different?

Refusing to acknowledge a Law doesn’t mean it’s not there.
