Whatever happened to just saying ‘no’?

At the risk of sounding callous, those clamoring for #MeToo status should at least be asked to answer the question…why didn’t they just say ‘no’?

This is by no means an exoneration for a boorish and crude Harvey Weinstein-type, who tries to parlay their business world position for sexual favors – such behavior is at all times disgusting and uncouth, and deserves to be called out in no uncertain terms.

That said, there’s a word for those who grant sexual favors to profit in business, or in an effort to advance their career or status among peers.

And, there’s a word for those ‘peers’ who enable a sexual predator.

We’ll leave it to readers to identify those defining adjectives that fit the acts.
