Investor’s Business Daily has a great piece on the pardon of Sheriff Arpaio, and anyone arguing the pardon was not deserved either doesn’t know what they’re talking about…
…or doesn’t care about such things as integrity, honor, or common decency.
In brief, the Arizona sheriff was hounded unmercifully by Obama’s Dept of Justice; the judge was a self-confessed hater of the 85-year-old Arpaio, and should have recused himself after such an admission. If that wasn’t reason enough, the fact that the judge’s “brother-in-law worked for the law firm that represented the other side of the lawsuit brought against Arpaio“…a clear conflict of interest…should have sufficed.
Next time you hear anyone talk trash about the President’s decision to pardon Sheriff Arpaio, ask them how they would feel being persecuted under such circumstances.
