Trump’s making news claiming he could have prevented 9/11 if he’d been president.

If nothing else, Donald Trump is the King of Hindsight-land.

Little exposes bluster more easily than an ‘I could have done better’ post-event mantra….

…but even if Trump did have 9/11 goggles on before that tragic day, it wouldn’t have cured the small  detail of having to work with a Cabinet that a Democrat Senate delayed.

Angry about W’s win over Gore, the Democrat-controlled Senate held up many Cabinet post appointments George W needed in order to get gov’t departments running smoothly.

(So Bush’s appointees didn’t get confirmed until a month or two before Sept 11, 2010. And thus, an argument could be made that Clinton-era gov’t agencies failed Americans.)

In the final analysis, it’s just as easy to say’ W could have run Trump’s companies better and avoided 3-4 bankruptcies’ as it is to say Trump could have avoided 9/11…

…neither can be proven.

But then, as with Obama…for Democrats, Trump doesn’t need proof to bash W.
