Some of the best weapons used against our enemies are secrecy and uncertainty.
And, with advanced technologies that include ‘out-of-nowhere’ drone strikes, keeping quiet about strategy and implementation forces your enemy to keep their head down.
Regrettably, with narcissist ‘I-Killed-Usama’ Obama, those options are off the table.
Say what you want about ‘cowboy’ George W, he knew when to keep quiet. Post-9/11, successful (domestic & foreign) covert operations were carried out, without comment.
He understood the ‘speak softly, carry a big stick’ concept Teddy Roosevelt repeated.
Unfortunately for America, Obama uses the Teddy Ruxpin approach to foreign policy, which means, with the slightest prompting, he’ll run off at the mouth about everything.
Even more troubling, his Democrat henchmen aid and abet in that approach.
Telling your enemies about successful operations is not the way to win our security.
When the Teddy Ruxpin doll ran on endlessly, yanking it’s batteries out shut it down.
Sadly, that can’t be done with ‘Here’s-what-I-did’ Obama…or his Democrat cohort.
And America may yet pay the price for that.
War vets know you won’t hear the bullet that kills you – with today’s advanced tech weaponry, terrorists won’t hear the drone that kills them…or know whose drone it is.
Message to Obama…less talk, more drone strikes.
