Friday, before his (fill in the number) round of golf, Obama spoke on Iraq.
Paraphrasing, ‘…any action the U.S. takes must accompany a serious effort by Iraqi leaders to set aside (wait for it) sectarian differences…so everyone can get along.’
Incredibly, the ‘Equivocator-in-Chief’ defines beheading and mass executions…
…as ‘sectarian differences’.
Equating mass murder with ‘sectarian differences’ is, at best, unparalleled ambiguity.
To any sane human, sectarian differences are worked out by theological debates, or forming a new religious sect…but radical Muslims seem to have a different approach.
(I.e.; Catholics pray to saints – Protestants don’t…nobody dies as a result. Shia Muslims believe in Ali as sacred cousin of Mohammed, Sunnis don’t…MASS MURDER results!)
To ‘equivocate’ means: “to use ambiguous or unclear expressions, usually to avoid commitment or in order to mislead; prevaricate or hedge.”
One can encourage a theological debate to resolve contemporary disagreements on religious matters…not so, with AK-47 wielding grenade-launcher terrorists.
Sadly, Obama doesn’t see the snag..and a fawning media won’t make him see it.
And, very sadly, NOTHING could define this president more appropriately….
…all hail, the ‘Equivocator-in-Chief’.
