CDC reports total gun-related deaths in 2010 (latest year available) as 31672.
Gun-related homicides (same year) were 11,078. Suicides 19,392.
So, if you want to reduce gun-related deaths by 61%, make suicide illegal.

For logic & common sense to prevail…
If everyone grew up with a gun in their hand, were taught how to use it properly, and had a legal right to carry, there’s no doubt in my mind that gun related deaths would be less than half of what it is today.
A good guy with a gun is the only defense against a bad guy with a gun.
