Media-fueled Covid-19 panic doesn’t match up to reality-based data

Remember the flu-death panic of 2010? Yeah…neither do we…but Rush Limbaugh nailed it today: with a 30,000+ swine/flu mortality rate then, the media was silent…

…unless it was to help Democrats push Obamacare over the finish line.

Today, of the 35+ U.S. deaths related to Covid-19, 26 occurred in one extended care home in Washington state, which begs the question over this media-infused panic.

It’s amazing how rabid the media has become, now, when flu-related deaths annually amounted to anywhere from 15,000 to 56,000 here in the U.S. in the Obama-era period.

Healthy precautions are always wise…unhealthy reporting to INDUCE panic is not.

Sadly, in pursuit of viewers, their ‘If It Bleeds, It Leads’ media policy lives on…

…even if they have to MAKE it bleed.

What the FakeNews media doesn’t tell you is that, at this point in America, your ladder is 10X more deadly than the Covid-19 virus. “There are more than 300 ladder-related deaths and over 130,000 emergency room visits related to ladders each year.”

Where’s the ladder-panic?

Is it time to shut-down all do-it-yourself home-improvement projects?
