Blind-eye for the Trump-guy…?

Puzzled? Don’t be.

The move to hold off for two weeks on deportation of illegal aliens is just one more play by this President that shows his respect for Congress…and his disgust with Congress.

Announcing deportations was an opening gambit; then delaying the act and putting the responsibility for its necessity squarely in Congress’s lap is…well…just brilliant strategy.

Congress made immigration laws with loopholes; they need to fix that. With deportation on the table, giving Congress two weeks to do their job throws it back where it belongs.

By his act President Trump displays respect for rule-of-law and separation of powers while, at the same time (ONE week before their July 4th break) giving them TWO weeks to solve the problem. Going back to their districts absent a solution is, then, on them.

Fixing the loopholes would take one day if Democrats in Congress wanted a fix. And that’s where the President’s respect for the process comes into play. But Mr. Trump knows his opponents, and – you guessed it – that’s why he has disgust for them.

Pres. Trump knows his opponents do not want to give him a ‘win’,..even if it means the Nation as a whole would benefit from their actions. And the Nation is watching…

…with the burden placed squarely where it belongs – on Congress.

Art-of-the-Deal is alive and well in the White House.

Once again, he’s played Democrats like a Stradivarius.

Some weak-knee Trump supporters may go wobbly over his move to hold off for two weeks on deportations: those who know his strategic long game are nodding heads.

When in doubt, remember…it’s just Trump BEING Trump.

Keep the faith; trust the man…enjoy the show.
