Clapper was Obama’s Dir of National Intelligence.

In 2013, at a Senate hearing, he answered ‘No’ to Sen Wyden’s question (“Does the NSA collect any type of data at all on millions or hundreds of millions of Americans?”).

As everyone now knows, the NSA WAS collecting all types of data on Americans.

What part of that question could possibly confuse a director of National Intelligence?
