What, exactly, is ‘civil’ about killing new-born babies?

Abortion is a subtly-languaged thing…

Virginia’s governor supports killing third-trimester and post-birth babies, declared so publicly during a radio interview, and when the predictable outrage became too loud, complained that those who are disagreeing should be more ‘civil’ in their discussion.

Civil? What’s civil about discussing the killing of a new-born or full-term baby?

And before the pro-kill…errr…choice crowd lights up, here’s a great argument from Ben Shapiro on exactly how this governor has exposed the Left’s KILL-EM-ALL two-step: “They believe that it is just as morally unproblematic to kill a baby that is fully formed as it is to kill a baby at eight weeks, which blows their entire argument to smithereens because their argument has been, ‘A baby is not a baby. That’s why you can kill it.’”

They’ve gone from ‘at 8 weeks it isn’t a baby’ to ‘at ANY time it isn’t a baby’.

BOOM!

Unwrap their language:

  • ‘Third-trimester’ means FULL-TERM;
  • ‘Post-birth’ means NEWBORN;
  • ‘Pro-choice’ means PRO-KILL;
  • ‘Discussion’ means KILL-or-DON’T KILL;
  • …and, most importantly, ‘Civil’ means SHUT UP.

Class dismissed.
