Mueller’s obstructing his investigation… with the tacit consent of Rosenstein

Dep AG Rosenstein’s instructions to Mueller when establishing special counsel directed him to ensure a “full…thorough investigation” and include “any matters” that arise.

But, if discovery that Hillary and Democrats funded a Russian-sourced dossier using a foreign agent to create the effort in order to tamper with an election and subsequently discredit a sitting President doesn’t draw indictments…then Mueller’s obstructing…

HIS OWN INVESTIGATION.

That is, if a “full, thorough investigation” linking “any matters” means anything.

Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein also has some explaining to do, and should tell Atty Genl Sessions why he has allowed Mueller to ignore the spirit of the appointment.

Rosenstein’s letter explaining a need for special counsel said that he “determined that a Special Counsel is necessary in order for the American people to have full confidence in the outcome. Our nation is grounded on the rule of law, and the public must be assured that government officials administer the law fairly…I am confident that he (Mueller) will follow the facts, apply the law and reach a just result.”

The FBI’s been investigating for almost 2 years. Mueller was up and running 9 months ago. Neither group’s found any Trump-Russia collusion, but a ton of Democrat-Russia collusion…yet despite Rosenstein’s direction, Mueller hasn’t done a thing about it.

If the public is to be “assured that government officials administer the law fairly” why is it there have been no indictments of Hillary Clinton, her campaign team, her lawyers, or the DNC colluding with foreign nationals to tamper with the election process?

Are we to assume Mueller’s lost the ability to ‘follow facts’ and ‘apply the law’?

Or, are Rosenstein and Mueller under the impression ‘the public’ believes administering the law fairly is only meant to apply…when Republicans are in the crosshairs?

Obviously, with the evidence available yet no indictments in sight, this is a witch-hunt, meant to be strung out until November, used by Democrats for the mid-term optics.

President Trump should demand immediate review of the Mueller special counsel effort and insist on a fair application of the law as it applies to both parties, or fold this tent.

He’s at a 50% approval rating – he should lay the case out to the American people…

…the public will give him a fair hearing, even if Mueller won’t.
