Abraham Lincoln was the first Republican president. The Republican Party was started based on an anti-slavery platform…and is the reason this Nation’s slaves were freed.

Abe’s birth month is February…that’s why the month is chosen as Black History month.

The irony? The Party opposed to freeing slaves gets black Americans’ support.

So much for our American education system.
