Historians argue who first put forth the proposition that “If you’re young and not a Liberal, you have no heart…if you’re older, and not a Conservative, you have no brain.”
For the moment, let’s focus on Liberals.
A new poll suggests 18-24 year-old Millenials overwhelmingly don’t like Donald Trump.
And, of course, many rub their hands in glee, believing these ‘young skulls full of mush’ can be molded to remain a Democrat voter demographic for decades to come, but…
…if by Liberal we define ‘having a heart’ as caring deeply for the plight of others, there’s a huge opportunity for the GOP…in light of the President’s current economic influence.
We cite as examples…
“Trump keeps his promise: Blacks & Hispanics do better with him than Obama”
Does it matter to those with a heart that minorities are finding more jobs, resulting in a better opportunity to support their family, while improving their lives exponentially?
“IMF: Trump tax cuts will boost global economy”
Does it matter to those with a heart that huge swaths of third-world countries will benefit from his tax-cuts, that a Republican Congress pushed through despite Democrats?
“164 companies give bonuses, lower fees to millions, citing Trump tax cuts”
Does it matter to those with a heart that millions of Americans have an improved life? (As noted in a previous blog, does it matter that Starbucks baristas are happier today?)
If having a heart means caring about the least among us, caring about others, than the Democrats may be in a hell of a lot more trouble as Trump-onomics picks up the pace.
Of course, if being a Liberal means only hating Republicans…that’s a different story.
