Much as Democrats want to claim the Virginia gubernatorial election as an anti-Trump ‘wave’, truth of the matter is you can’t lose what you never won…as we noted previously, Virginia went for Obama twice, and Hillary this last time…it was never pro-Trump.
We like Rush Limbaugh’s take on this latest Virginia election ‘wave’ of the Democrats:
“We lost the election, but we didn’t lose something we had. Here are Democrat losses since 2010 under Barack Obama: 12 governorships. That number doesn’t change with Northam winning in Virginia. The Democrats are still down 12 governorships. Sixty-two seats in the House of Representatives the Democrats lost, nine Senate seats, 958 state legislators. And if you start talking about mayors and town councils? If you keep going down the ballot, you’ll get to a number between 1,300 and 1,400 that the Democrats have lost.” (underline, bold emphasis added)
Democrat politicians, pundits and FakeNews know this, despite rhetoric to the contrary.
