There’s more to the ’72-minute Vegas response time’ that needs to be known

Many in the media and online are jumping all over a 72-minute response time, but that’s not the whole story when considering the context within that time-frame.

In fact, police seem to have been moving in very quickly.

According to a Fox timeline, the shooting was called in at 10:08pm, and at 10:14pm a police officer advised he was already on the 31st floor, and could “…hear the automatic fire coming from one floor ahead, one floor above us.”

11 minutes after the firing began, it ended. At 10:26pm, officers reported there was a four-man team on the 32nd floor, and a security guard was found shot in the leg.

Don’t let FakeNews make you believe it took police 72 minutes to get there.
