The incredible shrinking nature of a juvenile media

After floating rumors for days that Sec’y of State Rex Tillerson had disrespected Pres Trump and was planning to resign, the Secretary spoke out today and revealed…

…the incredibly facile nature of FakeNews media.

The man dealing with a nuclear-threatening North Korea, ongoing Middle East violence, Venezuelan meltdowns, Chinese chicanery, and Russian aggressions stepped in front of TV cameras, stated the media was irresponsible and he had no intention of leaving…

…and all the press could see fit to ask was “did you call the president a moron”?

Secretary Tillerson handled the childishness much better than we would:

“I won’t deal with petty stuff like that. This is what I don’t understand about Washington—again I’m not from this place. But the places I come from we don’t deal with that kind of petty nonsense. And it is intended to do nothing but divide people and I’m just not going to be part of this effort to divide this administration.” (bold emphasis added)

In a threatening world promising to go up in smoke at any moment, ‘petty nonsense’ is being much more polite and generous than BlueCollar is capable of as a descriptive…

…we would have suggested – MORONIC…

…and we don’t expect such nonsense to end any time soon.

Prediction:

FakeNews media headlines will focus on  ‘moron-gate’, and not the ‘non-resignation’.
