2 GOP senators who won’t back Ed Dept pick coerced by…teachers unions?

Reported: the two GOP Senators who say they’ll vote against DeVos for President Trump’s Education Department leadership position are in thrall with teachers unions.

(There are 52 GOP senators…and 51 votes are needed to get her confirmed.)

Guess it just takes a few bucks to pocket some people.So much for loyalty to Republican principles – Maine and Alaska constituents must be so proud…

Fortunately, in the case of a 50-50 tie, VP Pence casts the tiebreaker vote.

Murkowski was just re-elected, so Alaskan Republicans will have to wait a long time to plot their primary revenge. Speculation is Collins wants to run for Gov in 2018.

Time will tell if their desertion from Republican values will come back to haunt them.
