The definition of a split second…

Split-second (n) ‘That amount of time between when a BlueCollar post is published and a political editor takes issue when they disagree’

Said editor emailed, citing Abortion to make her point that (decidedly) ideological issues are in fact ‘solved’ from time to time by politicians, contradicting our previous blog.

(?)

BCP suggests everyone keep in mind that the definitive ‘elected officials’ does not include ‘appointed’ Supreme Court justices…who legislated abortion from the bench.

(And, ever since, anyone in America who’s not brain dead knows that one party still exploits women’s fear of losing that abortion ‘right’ during every election cycle.)

We suggest our hypothesis holds true: elected officials prefer exploitation to solution.

First rule of Politics…get elected.

Second rule of Politics…get re-elected.

Both rules require exploitable issues to get the needed Pull vote, which leads to…

…the Third rule of Politics…never solve an issue which can be more effectively used as Exploitable…in order to achieve Rules 1 and 2.
